Out of town for a work trip and SHOCKER, I can't sleep. I was super busy yesterday and didn't feel my usual baby jabs which has resulted in a very restless night! Why are these babies already causing us this much stress?
I'm also sharing a room with a coworker, which does not help me relax and fall back to sleep.
Here is hoping for a good Tuesday for you all and many reassuring baby jabs

I avoided doing this same thing of sharing a room with a coworker tonight. My reward? I get to drive 2 1/2 hours to a training, train all day, then drive 2 1/2 hours home! Yay!! Oh and I've been up for an hour and a half and my alarm goes off in 6 minutes. FML. Also could DH stop practicing his mouth breathing? Thanks.
Good morning ladies. Trying to will myself out of bed at the moment. We just flew in from a wedding in NY last night and I am freaking exhausted. We managed to go grocery shopping when we got back so there's food for the week, but laundry didn't happen. Who knows what the hell I will wear to work today!
Baby girl was moving around like crazy last night once I laid down so of course I stayed up to feel it. It's the first time I've felt more than just a few kicks. Such a strange but awesome feeling to feel her really wiggle around.
Can't wait to meet our darling daughter, Abigail Elizabeth
I think I finally felt one of the babies move starting on Sat night! It is hard to explain, but it feels like little taps. No flutters or butterflies just taps, so I hope it is baby that I am feeling. It is only on one side, so I am pretty sure it is Baby B. Baby A is in AP, so no action on that side yet.

Good morning. I actually slept pretty darn well last night which is surprising since DH is gone this week. I chalk it up to being so exhausted from this weekend.
My little girl is still so inconsistent with her wiggles that I haven't been worried. Thanks AP.

Our LEGO Christmas village sets should be here this week! Instead of a typical Christmas village we found the Lego village and get the new set each year. This year we are finally caught up so we got the one from last year coming and the new one this year.

My spam: our dog has fleas. Ugh!! We've bathed him twice, cleaned, he's had a flea treatment... I always imagine they're on me. My mind is really cruel like that.
In response to yesterday's suggestion in the spam, I'm gonna share our top name contenders: Jonathan David or Judah Wrenn! (David and Wrenn are both family names.)
I was totally looking for the Monday Spam thread because today feels like Monday to me. Yay for long weekends!
We had our A/S yesterday! We've got a beautiful, healthy baby with a perfect spine, strong heart, two kidneys, and the usual number of arms and legs. LO wasn't into showing off his/her junk, though, so we are unexpectedly team green. We have kicked around the idea of the Panorama screening, because we opted out of most of the screening tests in first tri, but decided to start with the A/S to see that everything was growing well. DH is adopted, and we know virtually nothing about his genetics or family history. He's leaning more towards getting it now, because we were unable to determine the sex, but I'm still on the fence. I'll discuss it with my MW at my next appointment.
I am thoroughly envious of those that can sleep on planes. I just can't do it no matter how tired I am. In 3hrs I may have slept 1 total.....and I have another 3 to go. Ugh. Here's to an an all nighter and the hopes that my family will give me some time to nap. Oh....and the music they play at the tram stop in DFW is freaky and makes me stabby. This may also be due to the lack of sleep.
@MaryS001 fleas suck. What type of flea meds are you using?

Good morning! DH was up and gone by 6:45 and I'm still in the bed refusing to get up. The nasty storms came through here last night and I didn't even wake up. I guess I need to make sure there are no trees down, etc. I wonder if we have cable? Today is all day 90210 on TVGN so it's important.....
Still basking in the glow of a perfect appointment from yesterday, but my arm is killing me from my flu shot!
GTKY: it's in my siggy, but the babies are Harper Abigail and William Alexander. We will call them Harper and William. No nicknames.
Here's a bonus 3D pic of William that we got yesterday because I can't help it Harper is always facing the wrong way for her face pic!
Ella slept in until 7:20 today (this is your future ladies mwahahahaha) so the day is off to a good start!
Little Audrey is so active my belly is already starting to do the crazy lurches and jumps when I lie on my back in the evening. I have a feeling she might be my wild child!
Swimming lessons this morning, then that's about it!
Oh....andplusalso a big FU to American who is making me check my bag after it was perfectly fine with Alaska. I'm voting this will be the 5th time they lose my luggage. They ALWAYS do. Fantastic. Lets piss off the tired pregnant lady.
They also changed my seat from an aisle to middle. Lovely.
Great. My boss sounds like he's got a terrible cold. Why is he here?! His office is directly across from me. I shut the door to my office, I don't care if it is rude. Please don't get the pregnant lady sick.
@cis78 - What I felt the first time for movement was more like muscle twitching or someone flicking a finger against the inside of my stomach. I still don't know what "flutters" are I blame my anterior placenta, I don't think I can feel any subtle movements.
@modernfairytale8709 - Congrats on the great A/S! Welcome to team green It's nice here. Have some punch

Thanks @scahlin and @ChickenOnSunday! I checked Childrens Place in Vancouver a couple weeks ago and their Halloween stuff was already pretty gone, but I should try again here!
@Maple403 Yes!!! You described it much better then me.

Do you think we will have to hear ALL of their baby names? I want to hear every single thing all of you regulars have to say about your baby names, but I don't care what a first time poster names their kid.....

Good morning. DH dreamt that he died from being "a big fat lard ass" so I doubt I'll be very active today. I'll probably stay being active fairly soon. I was going to post the name thread as per @Ducktale's request but @ChickenOnSunday beat me to it. I'm glad she did because she did a way better job than I would have with the questions.
GL at appointments, with travel and with the work meetings guys.
@aggiebug we use k9 advantage, and shampooed him with ultra guard flea and tick shampoo. Any better recommendations?
Where do you live? Fleas were an issue last year and this year like never before. We saw so many dogs that had to switch products (I work in the veterinary industry).
The flea and tick shampoo probably did no more than a good bath with dawn shampoo will do.
We like Comfortis (oral) for fleas if your dog can tolerate it (quite a few vomit). My next choice is Nexgard, which is also oral. My top choice for topical is Parastar, followed by Advantage. Frontline isn't even on our radar down here in TN/GA anymore.....

So I think I'm getting sick. Boo. My throat is scratchy and my nose is stuffed up. I got some tylenol cold, per my doctor, but just like any other tylenol product, it doesn't work for me.
@sarabell52 I miss your monkey. You of all people should not have a generic avatar.
@jennjilljoite what does the husband feeling like a lard ass have to do with being active on TB? Not trying to snark, just curious. I maybe have a teensy bump crush and will miss you all day.
Hi, ladies! I'm back from the Bahamas (though I did lurk a little bit after we were forced to buy the wireless package down there). Last night, I said to my husband, "I never thought I'd say this, but I'm so happy to be leaving a tropical island." Yeah.
Came into work with three new voice mails. Work-related? Of course not. They're collection calls for the person who had this phone number before me. Good times when they actually get me and I have to explain that no, I'm not her and no, I don't know where she is.
Awaiting our bundle of cute chaos.
F15 January Siggy Challenge: What You're Looking Forward to Most after Baby Arrives
I turned on the heater this morning when DS woke up early. Best. Decision. Ever. He went back to sleep, and I had a chance to relax.
DH brought home flowers last night after a pretty significant f-up on his part Sunday. It was a nice attempt, but I was already over being mad so it wasn't necessary. Additionally, I hate roses and that's what he bought "because they are pretty", I guess he gets bonus points for trying.
F15 December Siggy Challenge: Holiday Decoration Fails
New door threshhold, new french doors and threshhold, new windows: $2200
It all kinda HAS to be done. Good thing real estate is going well these days.......
Is it an unfinished space? Those numbers sound similar to what we paid for DH's office when his old space got converted to the playroom. We also had to add electrical outlets, walls, and carpeting.
I don't think we will ever have a need to finish our basement but if we do than we might price our house well beyond the normal for our neighborhood.
It is technically finished, but it was obviously an afterthought to whoever built this house. The room is almost 700 sq ft and is above the garage. There is one TINY air vent and no return. In the winter it is freezing in there and in the summer it is burning up.
The windows are original (early 90s) and they have water damage and one is starting to crack. They are so old that they are curvy ugly windows, so we've decided to have the window out, the walls squared up and normal rectangle windows put in. The french doors on to the deck (yes, my babies will have their own deck LOL) are original as well and they weren't properly installed, so the threshhold is rotting. The door frame into the room is cracking because the wrong door was put back on when the house was repainted when we moved in 5 years ago and the wear and tear has cracked it.
The estimates really aren't that bad, but it's a shock to have to spend at least $5,000 right now!!!

@MaryS001 I love the name options. I'm glad you brought up the flea question too. Someone visited with a dog with fleas and we can't get rid of it. We'll be checking out the suggestions you get.
@ChickenOnSunday I'm glad you did it. I love the underwear question and would not have thought of that.
@smg2302 I'm on my phone too much for any activity. He's not blaming me or anything he's just in an irrational, irritated state over it. I'm rolling with it. I wanted him to take care of himself and he is.
@chickenonsunday I'm here. Sorry been MIA as I've been dealing with a family emergency. Everything is OK now but it has not been a pleasant last 4 days. Been lurking mobile a bit and just started catching up today. I can't believe all the stuff going on. My heart hurts and I'm almost at a loss for words. Everyone in F15 is always in my prayers and I'm hoping for a successful next 4-5 months.
Now I always LOVE my DS, but the other toddler mothers can back me on this that sometimes you have days where you don't "like" them very much.
DS redeemed himself for his 3 hour scream/tantrum session in the MOTN Sunday night
by 1. Sleeping through the night last night without a PEEP! Thank you sweet boy, I needed that.
and 2. he ate lasagna for dinner last night, this is HUGE, I usually have to make him a completely separate meal from ours since he only eat 3 or 4 things for dinner, but I opted just to give him what we were having (I try new things all the time with no success), and after a few minutes of his normal outright refusal of anything new, I let him play with a little of it which ended up on his hands and in his mouth, and he LOVED it and ate a big serving. YAY!
