AW: Internship Accomplishment!

YAY my first AW post :)

I'm almost done with my masters in school counseling. I'm done with all of the classes, just have to get internship hours done and I'll be through. While I think that's pretty AW worthy by itself, today marks one full week back to work since our loss. And I'm proud of that.

Even better, today I had my first true counseling session that wasn't academic related. Today, I was able to help a student with a recent loss of a very close family member. The student said no one else said the "right" things and thanked me for being there for her.

Losing Fenix hurts and I wish it never happened, but he helped me with this case, and I'm grateful.

    Good luck finishing internship hours. I felt so good when I finished!

    4 Losses (2003, 2008, Apr 2012, & Oct 2012)
    All RPL and IF testing with multiple REs = normal

    5 IUIs = BFN

    All AL are welcome

    Congrats on finishing your classes! That is great! Sounds like your internship is going well. I'm glad that you were able to find some good in the tragedy of your loss and were able to help that student.
