I only do one snack a day right now. DS will have breakfast and then play and then nap for about 1-2hrs. When he gets up I usually give him lunch and then a snack in the afternoon and then dinner.
We try to get in 2 snacks but with nap schedules we are not always successful. We have not completely weaned, but here is our schedule:
7am - nurse 9am - breakfast with milk offering - at daycare 10:30am - snack with milk noon - lunch with milk 2:30pm - snack with milk 5pm - dinner with milk 7pm - nurse - at home
We are having problems getting DD to drink milk - although we had a breakthrough last week - which is why we offer her milk at every meal. She has not been drinking it though. Our pedi said not to fill her up with too much water. Once she gets onto milk regularly, I will replace the snack milks with water.
7:30-wake & cup of milk 8/8:30-breakfast 9:30-11/11:30-nap 11:45/12-lunch Sometime between 1:00 & 2:00-cup of milk 2:30/3-nap Sometime between 3 and 4, when she wakes up-snack 5:30/6-dinner 7:45-milk, then bed
