Girls trip - San Francisco or Seattle?

My BFF and I are planning a girls trip for next spring (probably early May). We are thinking of Seattle or San Francisco. We would be going for 4-5 days. We are in our early 30's, like sightseeing, tours, museums, shopping, spa treatments and eating good food! Neither of us are big drinkers or partiers. Based on this which location would you choose?

Re: Girls trip - San Francisco or Seattle?

  • I just got back from a girls trip to San Fran and it was amazing. We are big drinkers, but even without that aspect I would go back in a heartbeat. There is so much to do there and amazing restaurants

  • Everything @gastro said. I just feel like there is a lot more to do/see in San Fran and surrounding areas vs. Seattle and surrounding areas.
  • Agree with @gastro - I have LOVED living in & around SF the last 9 years and still find cool things to do, see and eat! May is gorgeous here as the rainy season typically moves out, warmer weather begins to move in, I could go on and on as well.

Having said that, I'd LOVE to go to Seattle with the girls, too and since I've never been, I can't possibly compare the two.

    Tough choice, good luck!

  • Thanks everyone! @gastro thanks for the info about wine country. I know that's a big draw for a lot of people but neither of us really like wine so I would have thought it'd be a waste of time for us. Good to know that there's other things to do!
