Girls Name help

edited October 2014 in Baby Names
Finally got SO off of the "name" Royally and he's looking into my top 2 favorites. Jo and Colleen are our mother's middle names. Any additional ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Girls Name help

  • The middle names feel a bit awkward to me, probably because of the syllable difference (which obviously you can't do anything about).  Have you thought about combining them (i.e., Jolene)?  Just a suggestion!
  • Elizabeth is beautiful, but I like Evelyn too.

  • I like the way Evelyn flows with the middle names (which I think are sweet and work together well). Plus it's a little less common and less stiff sounding than Elizabeth. Cute nn options too
  • I prefer Evelyn!
  • Elizabeth, for the NN choices.

  • I like Evelyn, but I agree the middle names are a bit awkward. Jo would make a cute nn to a Josephine or something along those lines. I think you need to pick one name for the middle name....
  • I would go with Elisabeth Colleen or Elisabeth Josephine.

If you must have both, I think Elisabeth Colleen Jo sounds better.
