Got to gloriously sleep in! It was my sisters wedding yesterday so my MIL picked DS up from the reception at 8 and kept him for the night!
Now we are off to church then hopefully lunch!
I have another a/s this week as at the last appt they couldn't get a good picture of the heart. Looking forward to another peek at baby!

Happy Sunday!! My littlest sister is in labor so i have another nephew coming soon!! Hoping dh wakes up soon (he works nights) so i can make the hour drive up there to see her. My dad is sending me updates from hospital. I dont know if i want to take DD into the hospital this time of year so i need to wait for dh to wake up. I know my nephew is there but im still wary of the sickies.

@CatLadyTX‌ pumpkin pancakes are super easy to make at home!! I make huge batches and freeze so i can pull them out whenever i want!

@nbad311‌ ohhh that book. I love it but it always makes me weepy!! My mom used to read it to us and cry too.

I'm in a grumpy mood this morning. Called my grandma last night to let her know we're having another boy. It was received with a groan, and a disappointed "oh, a boy?" This is only her 2nd great grandchild. Why can't she just be happy that it's another baby? Then she started going in on DS's 1st birthday party and why I hadn't invited some relatives I don't have a relationship with any more. (Long story but 1 small example of stress relative brings: With DS's birth, this relative showed up unannounced as our first visitor in the early morning uninvited. My DH hadn't even met her before this and almost refused room access because he thought she was some random person trying to get into our room.)

Both our parents are so excited, and so is DH's grandparents. It just brings me down how my grandma always turns a big positive moment into something about her and what she wants. I know I shouldn't expect anything more from her because she's never changed. But I guess I keep on making that mistake...

I'm jealous of all you ladies in cool sweater pumpkin picking apple cooking weather! (Yes that is a season)

@sugahcookie01‌ I make mix-and-match throw pillows but only with high high quality designer fabric... No calico prints just pricy upholstery grade stuff... I'm an interior designer so when our manufacturers discontinue patterns I get stuff for dirt cheap..it's a brand new company.. Not even officially launched because I want a strong inventory before I do... So right now it's word of mouth

But yeah.. The face and back fabrics are different, so you can flip them, or just have a fun print with a crazy back (like the red soles of a louboutin!) and I only have enough fabric for one of each so there are no two identical pillows

Below is the one I did yesterday but I'm cranking out 5-6 today.

Okay so im pacing waiting for dh to get up so i can go to the hospital so i make a post on Facebook that im excitied my sister is in labor......

Then some dumb ass friend of mine (from high school) feels the need to make a comment about her not being married. She is 23 and engaged, this is her 2nd child but really is it 1950? Why does that matter?!

Im livid. Pregnant rage may be coming out on my feed today. He isnt the brightest crayon in the box so my guess is he is just curious but he needs to shut the fuck up.

@willvilljill‌, TB freaked out on me so I went with it and changed my sn to what it wanted. I'm so glad you had fun even though you're order disputing rebel. Also, DH only offers to go to the store when he wants beer but procrastination seems like a good reason to go too.

DS has been in his crib trying to fall asleep for over an hour. I think he is finally down and I can't decide what I want to do:

A: take a nap

B: watch the rest of the Texans vs Cowboys game (go texans!)

C: wake up DH for sex.  

I could do all three, in reverse order of the post options, but I know that if I wake up DH there is no way he will let me nap.

I have my A/S tomorrow! First time we'll see our baby, and if he/she's cooperative find out the sex! I'm really excited and a tad nervous. Here's to hoping for a healthy baby!

We just got back from the Ren Fair. It was really fun, until after the joust when I almost fainted. We were sitting in the sun, so I think I just got too hot. I also have really low blood pressure, which makes it easy for me to faint. I know what it feels like before I faint- I feel really sick, then my vision goes, then I faint, but it's always a surprise. This time, I started feeling really sick and thought it was a weird morning sickness bout. I told DH that I felt horrible. Then my vision started going, and I was like "oh, great, I'm going to faint. I'm already sitting down, WTF". Luckily the joust had just ended so people were clearing out, and I crouched down between the rows and put my head between my knees.

This of course attracted A TON of attention, which is the LAST thing you need when you are trying to not faint. These people behind me were trying to be helpful and offer water and stuff, but DH had to tell like a ton of other people to just leave me alone. Anyway, I started feeling better really quickly and eventually stood back up. DH had just told one concerned lady "My wife is pregnant and isn't feeling well, she will be OK." This lady was like "Oh, I'm pregnant too! Don't you love being pregnant?"

I looked at her and was like, "well, it's OK I guess" (best I could manage). She then went on to tell us that she's 7 months and had a super easy, perfect pregnancy so far. Oh, and she said she liked to "rub her belly up on people" because she loves her belly so much. I don't even know what that means- rub your belly up on people? Is that like pregnancy overreach? Why would someone want you to rub your belly on them? Why do these people come out of the woodwork when I'm feeling my worst? I just wished her luck and then tried to get out of there ASAP. We headed home. 

Time to lay down and chug water.

I also wanted to share this skirt, I went into anthropologie yesterday and this skirt has a stretchy waistband and it super cute! They had a few skirts with stretchy waistbands, actually that were pretty cute. Also many capes since the subject of winter outerwear has come up.

I didn't get that skirt, but I got a different/floor length one and some sweaters/capes a few weeks ago! I love Anthro and wish they had a Maternity Line. Luckily, a lot of their shirts and sweaters will accommodate bumps. 

They had so many cute things that accommodate bumps, I totally agree!! It was an exercise in restraint, that's for sure!! I had to remove myself from the store!!

Well registering was a cluster fuck! All the excitement that I thought would go into picking out goodies for our little one left me horribly overwhelmed. My husband was not in the mood for shops today-- but seeing that our shower is less than a month away, we had to get it done. I felt rushed and overwhelmed and have been on and off in tears for the past few hours! Ugh! What a way to end the weekend! Yesterday we had a fantastic date day, and today I just want to call it a day and get into bed.
Sorry for the rant-- Sundays already suck, don't mean to add to it.

Our to-do list for the weekend is done. Apartment is clean (bathroom is nice and shiny), errands have been run, food for the week is prepped. I had a relaxing mani/pedi this morning, finally took care of my terrible eyebrows. And then we bought our nursery furniture today. Yay!

Tonight we're treating ourselves to dinner at Uncle Julio's. Beer for him, sopapillas for dessert for me.

I was MUCH happier doing ours online. I could click and peruse and compare easily. Maybe you can finish up that way?

I've done almost all of it online! Though we went into BRU yesterday to actually carry around the carseat we want and stuff. I started poking through swaddlers and receiving blankets and DH was like "yeah.....we need to leave." I'm surprised he lasted as long as he did. He was OBSESSED with the Mamaroo, but the 5-way motion one isn't online, so I'm not sure if I'll actually end up registering for it, or just buy it.

Okay, so I've not read through all the spam today, but I couldn't help but comment on the circumcision thread since our new "friend" stargirlb called out our actual friend @foxslaw for her religious beliefs, which is total bullshit.

Then I stroll on over to J15 to see what all the fuss is about and there is a POLL posted by someone else regarding Stargirlb's popularity (or not).  It's all quite sketchy.

Why is there a whole thread dedicated to who likes her and who doesn't????  I'm so confused.  I fall into the "don't like her" category today.  I'll rethink it tomorrow.

Ok I looked. Cookie killed it, very well said. To me though, she's not a troll, she's a reg on J15 and just controversial (and extremely disrespectful to those with religious beliefs), kwim? This is not directed at you, I'm just talking out loud. The Jan/Mar thing makes me sad and I just don't want to be involved in it....
