5 weeks later...pregnant again **hCG update**

Hi yall, I'm L!

I can't believe I'm here already.

After seeing our Blip's HB twice, I had a miscarriage at the end of last month. After my last u/s on 08/26/14 we were cleared to TTC. I got a +OPK on 09/14/2014 and my BFP on 09/29/2014. I'm assuming my EDD (very estimated) is 06/07/2014. I think I'm around 4 weeks 2 days today.

I had my first hCG and progesterone checked yesterday. I will get them checked again tomorrow or Thursday, but I'm so scared that I almost don't want to do it! My first appointment, if all goes well, is scheduled for October 24th. The OB nurse wanted me to come in more soon than that, but I wanted to wait longer because of what happened last time.

Of course I am happy about this pregnancy, but I feel like I can't let myself be truly excited yet. but...."Today I am pregnant and I'm happy!" This board has already helped me out so much! So thank you everyone! :)

*update* My first hCG on Monday was 243.2. I had my hCG checked again this morning (48hrs later) and the result was 461.4. This is 25 points away from doubling. I'm a little bummed, but it was an increase of 89.7%. Last time, my numbers didn't double in 5 days. I've decided not to have any more blood work. So if no cramping or bleeding starts...I'm just going to smile, be thankful and wait until my u/s on October 24th.

    Congratulations!!! I'm just curious they didn't recommend waiting one cycle after the loss?

    @luvloveXO, Nope. My OB said we were cleared to TTC again right away, but not to expect anything for a few cycles.

    That's exactly what happened to me. I had a MC on aug 7th then September 11 I found out I was pregnant again! Amazing and we weren't really trying! My doctor said we were okay to try again but I wasn't sure if my mind was ready yet emotionally! We let Faith take its course and if it was meant to be it will happen when we're ready!!! Then we turned out pregnant again;) we are so excited. Happy for you!! Good luck:)

    Congrats! I am in an identical situation. Got pregnant immediately after miscarriage and it was a bit surprising!

    Congrats!  Oh how I long to go back to when once you were pregnant you were pregnant.  Not truely aware of all the bad things that can happen along the way.  I like your line, "today I am pregnant and I'm Happy!"
