Boobs anyone?

Holy moly. This is getting a bit crazy. I'm normally a 32/34 B and have found my way to a 34DDD! Anyone else dealing with boob growth like this? Not that I'm not loving my new tatas, it's almost like I had a boob job! But gosh they are heavy and sometimes get in the way. I can only imagine what's going to happen when my milk comes in...

Re: Boobs anyone?

  • Yup. 36DDD here. But I usually wear a DD so they haven't grown that much but they are still HUGE and they are sensitive. They're like 2 giant water balloons.

  • Wow mine haven't gotten that large yet but I went from 34 C to 36 DD. I had to buy new bras around 14 weeks have maintained that size for now. 17 weeks now!

  • What's funny is that my husband, who has never really been a boob guy to begin with, has started saying things like, 'maybe you should do up that top button' and 'are you going to put a sweater over that?' And suddenly he has all kinds of opinions about breast feeding in public (with a cover) whereas before he had none and never even mentioned it. I guess now that they've reached circus size he thinks the freaks will start coming out of the woodwork when I'm out and about.

  • I've gone from a 36D to a 36G... They are so heavy it's ridiculous!
  • The boob growth has escaped me so far, yet I still have all of the boob and nipple pain that goes along with it :((

  • I am busting (pun intended) out of a 36DDD bra. Need to shop for next size up today! I don't even know what that is??? A 36E??? Never seen it. Need super support, though. Any recommendations on brands? I like minimizer bras. No push-ups. Victoria secret-type bras are worthless. I need support. A boulder holder! Help!!!!! This is an emergency.

  • Yeah.. Started between a D and DD but now my boobs don't fit in either size. I'm afraid to get measured now haha I'm just trying to get by on the bras I already have for now, I don't want to buy all new ones and have them possibly Get bigger. And they are still super sore. I thought that was supposed to get better during the second trimester..? I'm still waiting.

  • I'm a 34DDD/F normally. Currently I've got boobs for days and no monies to get new bras right now... so my DH has taken to calling me Tits LaRue... Eff these blasted tatas
  • I used to be a 36DDD then I lost 150 pounds and now I am a 32D but those aren't fitting anymore I am spilling over so bad, I need to buy new bras but no money yet, I feel like they have more than doubled in size, can't wait till my milk comes in as I was a cow last time lots of milk. I love soma bras they are awesome, you can get them on sale 2/ $59 which is good.
  • I went from a DD cup to an I cup.  And I seriously cannot find any bras in that size.  There must be some secret porn star store where they get bras for their ginormous silicone fun bags.  Or something.

Seriously tired of sporting the quad boob look over here.

I wear minimizer Bali bras. They seem to work the best for my boobs and I'm also in the 36DDD. You can get them at Macy's or order them online. I went to www.barenecessities.com for the ones I'm wearing now. They're very comfortable, give good support, and rein everything in nicely.

a DDD is basically an E (it's what I wear normally), so the next size up would be a 36-triple-huge. Kidding. Next would be an F.  Motherhood Maternity has sizes up to H
  • I'm normally a 40D but shot up to a 40DDD the weekend before my positive test. I'm scared to see where this is going.

  • Last time I had to get a 34 E from the Motherhood store once my milk came in, but they also didn't carry a 34DD. So who knows.
Mine are still super sore too.

  • My goodness my back hurts just reading the comments. I haven't started any serious growth YET but man they itch like crazy and super sensitive. I don't get growth til just before baby comes. But whatever swellage I get I keep. It's time to toss my entire bra collection I guess. Going to the DDcup club I predict. Where were these beauts in high school...pancake chest til I was 16.
  • I started as a 36C. I honestly don't know what size I really am. I measured myself at home and I measured a 36DD. I didn't trust my measurement though so I just bought a cheap 36D bra from Walmart like 2 weeks ago. Its too tight. I'm popping out of the cups and my boobs have hurt more the past couple days than they have the entire pregnancy. I'm going shopping for maternity clothes this weekend so while I'm at Motherhood, I'm going to get measured so I can get the right bra.
  • Hey guys I'm 16 weeks today pre pregnancy normal bra size 34 A 8 weeks in had to go and get measured my bra was killing me and my breast were hurting. Came out of Victoria's Secret with a 34D... But it doesn't end there!!! Just last week I put on my bra waking up though I noticed my breast were swollen hurting and had a burning sensation. I come home later that day and split my new 34D bra in the front! All threads just popped! Going to get new bras this week... Loving my boobs but knowing that they will only get bigger is scary! Lol
  • Wow!! Thought I was alone on the crazy boob growth, so glad I'm not!! went from a 34c to a 38dd with a little room to grow. It's a pain buying new bras that won't fit long but let me tell you it makes life so much better when they fit!
  • Mine have not grown that much, but they are so dang itchy.. With my last pregnancy they grew the last month I was pregnant.. And then deflated.. :(
  • I've been super lucky, mine have somehow stayed pretty perky despite the whole growth/deflate cycle happening 4 times already. It's very tempting to take a pic of them now so I can show my future surgeon- "this is what I want them to look like again, in all their glory!" Lol!!!!
  • I've gone from a 36DD to 36 F.... Panicking because won't they get bigger when the milk comes in?!? I had a hard time finding affordable bras in my size but found a couple I ordered from zulily and amazon.
  • Defiantly not in the same situation as the rest of you. Pre pregnancy I wore a 34Aand still had room in there to spare. Now I'm in a 36 A and finally fill up the cup! Woooo
  • I know the feeling. I'm normally a 34 ddd and you can imagine how outrageous mine are getting. I mean, where do you go after a ddd?
  • I'm normally a 34c-d, now at 18 weeks I'm a 34dd. I went to the maternity store to buy a bra and they don't care 34dd, they only have 34d, 36d, 36dd, or bigger. None which fit right. Any know somewhere that cares that size in maternity or nursing style bras?
