Symptoms: bh, pelvic pain, increasing nausea and vomiting, difficulty sleeping
Updates/AW/Appointments: I feel like a bad bumpie because I have been participating as much lately, but I've been feeling overwhelmed by lots of things. We finally made progress on the to do list and I'm feeling a lot better about getting ready for baby. I still don't have my completion coupons, and am trying to pick a double stroller, but I'm not stressing.
Also, last week when I was puking dd (almost 3yo) was patting my back and said "mama where we going today?" Me: "I don't know" Dd: "I gonna tell everyone you throw up today". I think she's going to be disappointed when I stop puking.
GTKY: if you had to/were able to do something for work that you're not doing now, what would it be? I currently SAH and tutor, but I would love to counsel college students and high schoolers without worrying about paying the bills. Also, I really enjoyed being an admin. assistant, and kinda wish I'd figured that out before getting my MA degree. Oh well
Updates/AW/Appointments: I have my 34 wk check up tomorrow otherwise everything is progressing beautifully. Kind of bummed that I probably won't get much if any benefit from my Hypnobabies homestudy because I've barely had time to crack the book open. Oh well, I did it before I can do it again.
GTKY: if you had to/were able to do something for work that you're not doing now, what would it be? Honestly, I'd love to be a SAHM / homesteader. I can't think of another career that I would like more than the one I'm currently in.
Symptoms: Again, still feeling good. BH are pretty strong when I walk (especially uphill or up stairs.) But I think that's it. Sleeping around 9 hours a night (with a few pee breaks, of course.) So I really have nothing to complain about.
Updates/AW/Appointments: I see one of my MWs on Wednesday. Looking forward to it.
GTKY: if you had to/were able to do something for work that you're not doing now, what would it be?
The biggest mistake of my life was withdrawing my application to med school in 1996. WTF was I thinking?
Heartburn is pretty rough still, but I have been taking Zantac which has really helped. Little guy seems to have dropped. I have a ton of pressure and it feels like he's ready to come out for lack of a better description.
I've got my group apt tonight where DH is going to learn how to comfort me and give me massages during labor. Not gonna lie, I've been looking forward to this one for quite a while. We also picked out our hospital (sort of). Basically we pre-reg'd at both. One is closer in case of emergency, the other is further, but much newer and nicer.
If I could do anything else I would be a sports show host. Preferably for baseball or PAC12 football. It is what I went to school for and it's really the only job I could see myself doing where I would be making money doing something I love. Well, I take that back...I would also love to be a rich philanthropist. That would require me buying a lot of lottery tickets though.
Weeks/EDD: 35 weeks, 11/3 (inducing on or about 10/27, so 4 weeks to go!)
Symptoms: braxton hicks (but I love them), pelvic pain whenever I stand from sitting or laying; constant pain down my left leg--feels better when my husband massages it--feels like IT band tightness, but who knows?; had a heartburn scare a few days ago but went away by the time I bought tums.
Updates/AW/Appointments: NST was great last week! Next one is Wednesday. High Risk OB appt on Wed too--they'll likely switch me to unfractionated heparin this week! Nursery is about as done as it can be--awaiting a dresser on back order, but everything is hung on the walls, washed and folded, and things that need to be built are built. Crap got real.
GTKY: if you had to/were able to do something for work that you're not doing now, what would it be? This is tough. I think I'd like to be a full time volunteer changing where I did work at my whimsy.
Symptoms: SPD is worse, difficulty sleeping, think this baby is giving me a hernia
Updates/AW/Appointments: having blood work done tomorrow since DD was diagnosed with Fifth Disease, next OB appt is next week, prenatal massage tomorrow and I can't wait
GTKY: if you had to/were able to do something for work that you're not doing now, what would it be? I love being a SAHM but I really wish I would have went to medical school instead of nursing school.
Symptoms: I was all ready to walk DD to school today when it suddenly hurt to stand and hurt even more when I'd take a step. It was a sharp pain in my crotch, and I ended up driving DD. The pain went away after I sat for a while. Also my exhaustion really has kicked up a notch.
Updates/AW/Appointments: Getting very close. My other two were born at 38 weeks and 38w4d. I'm looking forward to hearing any predictions my midwife has for this one next Monday at my 36w appointment.
GTKY: Working in a museum or maybe a library. I'm a SAHM right now though and I wouldn't choose to do anything else.
Symptoms: I've suddenly gotten an energy spike. Does that mean he's on his way? Eeek! Lots of movement. Some swelling, but feeling remarkably good!
Updates/AW/Appointments: We took three classes back-to-back at the hospital on Saturday (Breastfeeding, Carseat Safety, Infant safety and CPR) 12 hours! Somehow it didn't kill us and we came away with so much great information! Thursday begins weekly appts and sono every time! I can't wait to see his picture again. Our last one was at 5 months back in June! We also have one more class to take on Thursday - Childcare Basics. We've really enjoyed the classes we've taken and our hospital offered them all free of charge. Awesome!
GTKY: if you had to/were able to do something for work that you're not doing now, what would it be? I am beyond content with my work situation. Just wish I made more $. I work from home as an artist, art teacher and web editor.
N14 November Siggy Challenge - Straight up Celebration!!!
Symptoms: lots of movement, some nausea, just a general feeling of heaviness/fullness
Updates/AW/Appointments: Next appointment is this Thursday, nothing else to report medically, but we finally got our minivan so now our whole family will fit in one car once we bring home this little one!
GTKY: if you had to/were able to do something for work that you're not doing now, what would it be? I loved the place I used to work before my youngest was born (I worked there for about 7.5 years after college), and I'd like to go back there someday (for now, staying home is the only thing that makes sense financially, but I will eventually go back to work).
Updates/AW/Appointments: no appointments till Friday, but we finally made some progress on emptying out the nursery.
GTKY: if you had to/were able to do something for work that you're not doing now, what would it be? I have a classroom with students with very severe disabilities. There is several pieces of expensove equipment I would love to get them.
Symptoms: constant peeing, more and more movement, exhaustion
Updates/AW/Appointments: Husband scheduled an elective ultrasound for us on Friday I'm excited to see what baby girl looks like! Things are progressing between husband and I! We are "dating" and spending more time together without arguing as much!
GTKY: if you had to/were able to do something for work that you're not doing now, what would it be? I'd love to be a wedding planner, photographer, or a teacher.... But I like being a nurse too!
Symptoms: um... Can't get my fat butt in the car, can roll over it get out of bed without huffing and puffing. Swollen everything, Braxton hicks, hungry all the time. Ready to have this baby!
Updates/AW/Appointments: u/s on 10/13 for growth, every two week check in. No issues and measuring a week ahead.
GTKY: if you had to/were able to do something for work that you're not doing now, what would it be?
I would work 4 days a week. I feel like I need a day off by weds lately. Thursday and Friday are a blur of awful baby brain.
Symptoms: Baby movement slowed down over the weekend enough to worry me but she's back to herself today! Minor swelling with a side of lightning crotch and the back of my right leg goes numb from time to time.
Updates/AW/Appointments: We have our 32 week ultrasound on Thursday to check on my fibroid and baby growth, so excited to see her!
GTKY: if you had to/were able to do something for work that you're not doing now, what would it be? I love my job and the career path that I've already chosen, I just wish it wasn't such of a commute every day!
Symptoms: Ginormous swollen feet, just feeling huge, heavy and exhausted. Lovely lightening crotch every once in a while. I also have to stand relatively slowly after sitting for a while to let everything settle before I can walk comfortably.
Updates/AW/Appointments: Next appt is the 7th. I'll have my 1st cervical check (ugh, yay) and after that it's every week until LO arrives!
GTKY: if you had to/were able to do something for work that you're not doing now, what would it be? I'm anxious to get back into my bow business. I miss doing craft shows. DD1 and I were just starting to do them together as a special Mommy/daughter thing. Unfortunately, after LO gets here I have to find a *real* job so that will probably be sidelined again.

Weeks/EDD: 33 Weeks, 11/17
Symptoms: Pain and not able to sleep because of it. The usual.
Updates/AW/Appointments: Nothing new here, 34 week appt is one week from today.
GTKY: if you had to/were able to do something for work that you're not doing now, what would it be? I would be working on my parents family farm still if it paid better. Farmers are the hardest working, most underpaid people there are. I enjoyed working with animals so much more than with people, but the pay was crap.

Married July 14, 2007 ----- TTC # 1 October 1, 2013 BFP March 7, 2014 ----- EDD November 17, 2014 ---- Baby boy born November 16, 2014
Symptoms: Sleep is elusive at the moment as I feel really hot all the time. I've also been getting sharp pains in my uterus every now and then- enough to take my breath away. I'm also feeling huge.
Updates/AW/Appointments: Appointment on Wednesday. Ultrasound schedule October 17 to check on growth and to see if my placenta has moved (fingers crossed!). We've been slacking on our to do list lately, but that has to change as we're getting close.
GTKY: if you had to/were able to do something for work that you're not doing now, what would it be?
Two things come to mind. I'd love (LOVE) to work at an English manor house or castle as a curator. Heck I'd work as a gardener if I could spend my days there.
The other option would be a full time food blogger/cookbook author. I adore cookbooks and love cooking and I wish I could just spend my days in my kitchen playing.
Symptoms: SOOOO TIRED!!! No energy whatsoever. It took me 1 hour and 50 minutes to chop and assemble spices and ingredients to put in the slow cooker today. Not. Kidding.
Updates/AW/Appointments: Taking MIL to my appt on Friday and my first baby shower is Saturday!!!
GTKY: I'm doing what I've always wanted to do, I'm happy with my career path and wouldn't change anything.
Symptoms: Braxton Hicks, crazy heartburn, insomnia, peeing every 5 minutes, pelvic aches and pains.
Updates/AW/Appointments: Had another ultrasound on Thursday to get a few more pics of baby's heart and to check the growth of a uterine fibroid that is in a tricky spot. We are team green but I'm pretty sure that our ultrasound tech let it slip that we are having a boy.
GTKY: I love what I do but If I could do something other than it I would have become a veterinarian. I love animals but unfortunately the sight of blood makes me faint so I went into physiotherapy instead.
Weeks/EDD: 11/23 32 weeks! I just realized from you all that weekly appointments start fairly soon? At 34 weeks? Crazy. How did we get to the end already?
Symptoms: The usual, I guess. Tired. Sleeping is rough, especially because I get so hot at night. My hips are and back start to hurt. Also my tailbone. I know I should see a chiro, but the one I like isn't covered by insurance so it'll be expensive. I definitely have to be careful getting up or rolling over, otherwise it hurts like a peesh.
Updates/AW/Appointments: Next appointment is tomorrow. Yesterday DH and I did a Partners Prenatal Yoga and Massage workshop. It was pretty awesome. Some of it was hippy dippy stuff (that was lovely) about connecting with your partner and recognizing the qualities in them that will make them an awesome parent, but the yoga and birthing position stuff was great as was the MASSAGE. Basically the class taught DH some things he can try to do to help now and during labor. If there's something like this near you, I highly recommend it.
GTKY: if you had to/were able to do something for work that you're not doing now, what would it be?
I'm not sure what i would do. I'm having career ambivalence at the moment. The grass is always greener, I think. I am a grad student and I am funded so that's pretty luxurious. I also do freelance dramaturgy for theater projects and companies. I love both of these things at times. Sometimes I wish I had a more straightforward job. My (in-progress) degree should ideally lead to a tenure-track position at a university, but I'm not sure I want that any more.
TTC 3/2012; IUI 2/26/14; EDD 11/23/14; DD born 11/21/14!!!
Verified with my midwife tonight at my apt that the pressure I'm feeling in my crotch is indeed Kaelen's head. He's WAY low! Like inches from his exit! CRAZY!!!
Symptoms: hip pain, back pain and this morning - brownish discharge!
Updates/AW/Appointments: Weekly appointments starting Thursday this week. I get to meet with one of the practices midwives for the first time so I am excited about that. I called about the aforementioned brownish discharge this morning and they said as long as I don't also have cramps and it doesn't turn red, nothing to worry about. But exciting! It gave me a little rush of energy this morning and I packed my hospital bag.
GTKY: if you had to/were able to do something for work that you're not doing now, what would it be? I would be a full time fitness instructor.
