%Monday: Plans for the coming week?

I kinda forgot I'm leaving for Orlando in the morning. I forgot to pick up my dry cleaning on Saturday and I forgot to get my emissions test on Friday. WTH? Hopefully I remember to get up in the morning

Well this week I'm in Orlando 2 days and CLT one day.
Husbands birthday is this coming weekend so I asked the dad's group to gtg and have a poker game. I need to get other birthday stuff around.

I start my data analysis this week and I have a big school assignment due on Wednesday.

Anyone doing anything cool over the next week as we enter into OCTOBER?

Nothing exciting anymore! This was supposed to be Alexs first 3day week at daycare but he will be home with grandma tomorrow.
We were supposed to go to my parentson the weekend to meet friendsof my sister who are visiting from Czech. They have a 17 mo daughter and I don't want to risk getting her sick so we will stay home.

@lancomechica... sounds like a crazy week!!

This week work will be pretty busy Monday-Wednesday.  The project I manage has a big deadline and I am coordinating the review team.  I also need to start planning my work trips to the DR and Tanzania.  

DH is in California today-Tuesday and is flying from CA to NJ.  Thursday we are all meeting in CT (T and I will be flying from DC and DH will be driving up from NJ).  We will spend Thursday-Sunday at my parents house, which will be home base as we meet our new nephew, Luke, and visit my grandmother who had surgery earlier this month.

I am already completely exhausted, but I am so excited to see family this weekend.  None of them have seen Tess walking (or with awesome hair styles) so I know they are going to be so excited.

Story time 2-3 days
Kids' cooking class Thurs
Play date tomorrow and most likely 2 more sometime this week
Driveway being re black topped tomorrow morning
Board meeting for preschool Thurs night
Pack somewhere in there for our weekend away next weekend
Try to clean up so we don't come home to this mess
Try to get ready for my scrapbook weekend (this is said with lots of laughter)
Download videos/photos so I can take more
With luck view and purchase the photos taken at preschool last week!

Am I doing anything cool? No.

Tomorrow we are doing the intake paperwork with the clinician for Owen's new services. He's getting something called VRP (virtual residential program), which will involve at least 1 clinician/behavioral health professional being in our home during waking hours whenever Owen is home.

Finn has a focused PT eval on Tuesday.

Then I work Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

I'm trying to keep my excitement to a dull roar.

DH is going to CA tomorrow until weds. We have music class, PT, Asthma Dr appt for me, baby gym, swim class, and whatever else fits into our schedule. Also a trip to Joann's. A Halloween party on Sat if DD is up for it.

Eta: I forgot lynch with a friend to talk about our new RE's protocol. She did it and I have questions and need opinions.

FFSC: I just painted over my pedi because it's a little raggedy and my toes need to hold their own for 3 more days. The bleh part is that I didn't have the right color, so I used one that was close but darker. I am sure the pedi lady is going to give me a WTF look when she takes my polish off!

My brother turns 21 tomorrow!! I happen to have Monday and Tuesday off so G and I are going to my home town to celebrate with him. Really excited for the drive. Fall colors in the trees in a beautiful part of the state!

I have my usual long mondays today. I do 3 lectures between 11am-10pm then I have a 50 minute drive from campus, boo. Wednesdays are much shorter and lots of prep work in between days.

Off work today and tomorrow. Today we are going to the zoo. Tomorrow after DS gets out of preschool, we have a play date coming over so I also have housework to do today and tomorrow morning. Wednesday DS has his speech appointment, Thursday morning he has preschool. We have no plans for the weekend.

Story time today, midwife appointment Wednesday. That's all I have planned, but I want to get with my mom and finish piecing the quilt we started for C. If I don't get it don't before #2 come I probably never will.

I'm insanely excited because on Friday I'm flying to the DC area for a girls weekend with some old friends. We're renting a cabin and plan to go hiking, drink wine, relax in the hot tub, and do craft projects. I bought some supplies and plan to teach myself how to crochet.

Between now and then, I have to finish up a big year-end report (government fiscal year) in a subject that is not my area of specialty. FX that the person who is an expert in that area is actually able to help me.

Wednesday evening we are going to an event that our realtor puts on every year, free beer and burgers.  We need to chat with him anyway about possibly putting our house on the market next spring and where we are looking to buy.  I think Saturday looks like a good day to take DS to the zoo for his first time!  Other than that, just work and the usual.

Work, work, work, then heading home to Nashville for the weekend . One of my best friends from high school is getting married and I can't wait to see my family!

safe travels, @lancomechica!  It's DH's turn to travel this week, he's off to San Jose and coming back on Thursday.  So it's me and the boys, just work and DC, pretty normal routine except I'm solo in the evenings.  We've got a 3rd bday party to go to on Saturday and the Broncos v. Cardinals game on Sunday.
