Anyone try the Sperm Meets Egg Plan?

So, I heard about this after my early m/c 5+ years ago, and since i'm really bad at temping, I thought I would give this a shot.  anyone have experience with this?  or past successes?

Thanks Ladies!

I tried it once, but that was the cycle I didn't ovulate until CD 21, so I figured I wasn't going to (I had a cyst, and my RE had said it was possible that I wouldn't) and gave up too early.  If your cycles are a reasonable length, though, it sounds like a workable plan.

I just googled it - thanks... it's pretty much what I do anyway!  My DH sperms are good so I know that trying often is a good plan for us, but if sperms need more regeneration time, it's not ideal to do it every day.
    TTC#1 since Aug 2013, I'm 37, DH 41.
Maya Arvigo Abdominal massage (daily self care), plus TTC meditations.
I'm very sensitive to diet (gluten, avoid processed foods) and environment. Have a history of inflammation and tendinitis before going off gluten in 2009.
July 2014 - RE Visit #1: Eggs look good, Endometrioma on R ovary, HSG showed blocked R tube close to ovary. DH SA normal
DX: Endometriosis probably the IF cause and gunking up tubes.  Since egg reserve is high, RE says I can wait a couple months and then get laproscopic surgery to remove endo & clear tube.  If that doesn't help then move to IVF.
Dec 2014 - Saw new RE - does not recommend surgery on tube as it isn't likely to help.  Doubts I have endometriosis.  My endometrioma shrunk to neglible size (yay!)
    Seriously considering IVF in March/April

I'm wondering what they're looking at with the BD starting at cycle day 8?  My cycles are long - last cycle I didn't ovulate until CD 39 so I think for me I'd need to figure out when to start this process.  It doesn't account for irregularity.  But it makes sense otherwise.

I was going to ask about DTD and conception. SO and I have a very very healthy intimate relationship.  Sometimes to healthy. I was wondering if there was no enough time for regeneration of "the boys" and this could hinder the baby making.

Has he had an SA?  If he doesn't have issues with sperm count, frequent sex shouldn't be a problem.  Go at it!  (well, get the SA, then go at it). :)

@Davie813  No, we have not had an SA yet.  We are hoping to see if it works thing at first before we move to medical assistance.

I wouldn't call SA medical assistance - it's just a sample given and results. Very easy and gave me peace of mind!

I've not tried it myself (that's too much for me haha) but I've had some friends who have with fairly decent results. It's taken some of them a few months to actually get pregnant, but so far all of them have actually gotten pregnant.

This may be a dumb question, but where do you get a SA taken? Urologist? RE?

We're trying it this month. A friend recommended it and I figured it couldn't hurt. There's a very short book about it that is a free kindle download on amazon.

My gyno gar me a script for him to do it but we were kinda confused as to where he should go. We didn't look too hard because then I made an appt with an RE and he had my DH come in and give a sample right there. I am pretty sure a clinic could handle tho. Other ladies have suggestions?

DH should be able to get SA done at an RE's or a urologist. As for the Sperm Meets Egg plan, sounds great if you have the energy for it!

Thanks Ladies! We tried the plan this month, definitely a LOT of BD.  don't think I can keep that up for too long.  maybe 2 more cycles, then convince DH to get a SA.
