Alright I started the post this morning because I need to not be annoyed by the time I head to my classroom.  Major Fing TP to the airport this morning and H's bitchy bossy. He works part time PART TIME! Loading bags on the planes and you know doing all that plane stuff. Well that means he gets out there at 4am because our first flight is at 6. He works other shifts, but this is the one I'm mad at. Anyways he got accepted into Americorps to help with literacy in the schools which is great because it will start to pay off his loans (I'm a teacher I don't make a ton). Well cue bossy lady always telling him 'Oh I don't work around other schedules' and mandating him (all the time) to work mid-day shift. This morning she tells him he will be there until at least 7:30. Which really means later. I am annoyed because he's now always too tired, or not home. Also I am worried Americorps will drop him because he's not getting his hours in. He's leaving the airport job here soon, but not soon enough!

Alright. Sorry for venting. Post is up early, hope I'm the only one today!

TP to one of my coworkers. He is a "temporary" manager (think kind of like an internship) and he is duplicitous and awful. He intentionally stirs the pot when I have defused a situation so that it rears its ugly head again (this has happened multiple times) AND he has apparently been going around telling people that I have favorites and giving the impression to those who are impressionable that I don't care for them. If there is one thing that I am to a fault it is black and white and fair and level. I cannot believe he is at this (again) and I am so mad at myself for letting my guard down and thinking that perhaps he had changed. Now I have to confront him and he is totally going to deny it. I don't know what I am going to say (suggestions welcome), but I am going to have to let him know that I am wise to his games. Agh! I hate drama like this.

@meredithcarole What a douche bag! I hate when people stir the pot. What is this, 7th grade again??? Grow up! I'm so sorry you're dealing with that. Big ((hugs)), sorry I don't have any advice on what to tell him! I'm sure the ladies here will offer great advice!

@Elliecat7 and @meridithcarole why do people at work have to make the rest of our lives miserable?  I hope you are able to deal with them soon!

@Elliecat7 I have several friends who were in Americorp and they were pretty reasonable in helping them adjust.  Most were in the fire brigades and trail crews so it may be different in an urban posting.

@elliecat17 - Ugh! Terrible bosses are the worst! Some people really get crazy when they have a little bit of power. Sorry you and YH have to deal with that. Giant TP to her!

@Meredithcarole - OMG, that is my pet peeve! I hate people that are always trying to stir things up and cause problems. I think the best way to deal with it is to confront him head on and don't try to sugarcoat it. You are right, he will probably deny it though. Do you have any definitive proof you could point to? It is always tough to deal with this kind of person, so I will be thinking of you today. Good luck!

@ctk181 - my definitive proof is all verbal from my employees, but they are people I trust.  Plus, you hear one thing, two things you may dismiss it, but when you hear numerous things from numerous people you'd be a fool not to heed the warnings.... The ultimate issue is thought that he will deny it. 

@jj32 you are right, people like that never change.  I can't understand why you would want to behave that way in the first place.  Sooner or later it will cause him big problems, but it won't be because of me.  I lack the "wily like a fox" characteristic needed to bring one down.  

@km380 his role keeps getting extended (God knows why).  He's currently slatted to be with us until January.

@Meredithcole ugh! It's like middle and high school all over again. I'm sorry you have to deal with that. I suppose your best bet is to try and stay above it all. That and try to get something solid on him.

Thanks ladies for all the love. They are really helpful, I just think that I am a worrier through and through.

Clearly my brain isn't working today since I just posted in Monday TP

TP to my H's body.  He has a freaking hernia and is afraid to have sex with it.  So I guess we are benched and we aren't getting any younger here.  This coincided with a BFN and a temp drop at 12 dpo so I am not dealing very well and haven't been a very supportive wife.

And TP to all the shitty bosses and coworkers around here.
