BCP question

A few weeks ago I posted about my IUD and my gut was right. It was coming out. I had it 8 months. My OBGYN could see the tip of the plastic just outside my cervix. So she put me on Lo Loestrin.

Fast forward three weeks and over the course of a few days, I started getting a funny stomachache. Like a burning feeling. I also had a headache and nausea. I went to urgent care and the doctor gave me zofran and another med for stomach acid. She's wondering if it's the pill.

I have to follow up with my primary physician (meaning probably find a new one because I don't care for my current, haven't been there in a while). Urgent care doctor also mentioned getting my thyroid tested.

Has anyone had stomach issues related to the pill? It's been 6 years since I was on the pill last and was only on it maybe a year.

I had a friend who did have stomach problems because of bcp. She had to try different types until she found one that didn't upset her stomach.
