Ovulation heavy pain

Hey y'all! I'm 30 years old, married for 3 yrs, been TTC for 2 years. I am anovulatory and we have male factor infertility. I'm new here but have been on Wordpress for a while but find myself google searching a lot and thought I should join here!
This month was my first month with stims - 10 mg Femara 3-7, 75iu daily Follistim 8-11, Ovidrel 40 hours ago and IUI #4 this morning with 3 mature follicles.
I should be ovulating any time now and have never had ovulation pain before but all day today my stomach/uterus has been very tender and had a very heavy/tight feeling. Almost to the point where it's uncomfortable to laugh. Has anyone else experienced this before? Could the multiple follicles be what the discomfort is from?

I was surprisingly uncomfortable on one cycle of femara over the summer. I only had 3 potentially mature follicles (last monitoring appointment was about 3 days before trigger) and we ended up out of town so we did trigger plus TI. I had a lot of pressure and discomfort for about 12 hours around when I likely ovulated.

    Good luck!

  • Yes my iui with follistim was a worse month for me than IVF.  I was SUPER bloated after i ovulated and had serious ovulation pain (I always feel it, but this was serious pain).  Hate to tell you, but it actually bloated up more after I ovulated.
