Closed system breast pump?

So my friend has the exact same pump as I do, Ameda Purely Yours double. She only used it once and offerred it to me since she no longer needs it. I beleive it's a closed system. Would I simply be able to buy  a new set of flanges and tubing and be ok to use it?

I assume you're asking for hygienic purposes. If so, you don't have to buy new flanges or tubing. You should be able to boil them for 5 minutes and be good as new.

If the flanges are not the correct size, buy new ones. Otherwise I wouldn't spend any money.

Edit* It looks like you can't boil the tubing. You wouldn't need to anyway. Milk doesn't travel through them.
