Breastfeeding

What to expect....if BF'ing, do your breasts always feel full or is it+

just before you've fed DC?  Once you are done w/ a feeding, do they "empty out?"  I know, weird question.  Just wondering if they will feel uncomfortably full/hard?  Or if they will "empty out"/soften up after a feeding?  Were they the same as they were during pregnancy?

  • Mine soften out. They are never really "empty" but during the night, since my LO will sleep at least five hours they do feel hard and once I pump they go back to being soft.

  • They soften up. Don't worry. And after a few months or weeks you won't get engorged that often.
