BMB Secret Santa

They're called "BMB" on here, right? (I use DDC out of habit, so just making sure I have Bumb specific lingo right.)

Is this customary for BMBs to have baby showers or, in our case, Secret Santa? I've done them in past DDCs, but was wondering if anyone has put any feelers out for it.

Not everyone usually participates. Some people aren't comfortable with it. But those who are, names are gathered and you get paired up with someone else. There's usually a price cap between $20-25.

My BMB's with my other boys did them and it worked out fine, but honestly with a bunch of due dates around Christmas, I think it's a bad idea. Too many people will be preoccupied with their LO's.

It seems like these boards get a lot more traffic than some others, so I can see why it feels too open and risky in this case. No problem. I have a couple others that are doing something similar, so wasn't sure if that's a "thing" on these boards.

I think its a lovely idea, but I do agree with it being the internet, it seems unsafe under these circumstances, but I think the sentiment is sweet.

On my other BMb and I had done valentine day ones too. But..,,there are a lot of weird posters here. Too bad bc it's actually really fun. We use Elfster too
