Hi! Can I be added to this group? I am on day 7 of stims for my first IVF. At my first monitoring appt (friday) everything was measuring below 10mm, so my dose was increased from 300 to 450 iu Follistim. I am very interested to see where things are at monitoring on Tuesday! I will hopefully have ER this week, as long as I am responding better to the higher dose of meds.
It's great to be able to check in and see where everyone is at in this crazy process! Best of luck!!

@Marissa6609 we are on the same stim day! I had u/s on Saturday with estradiol at 185 and my largest follicle at 12mm. Sounds like we are progressing the same. I also have monitoring on Tuesday and I'm hoping for ER for Thursday or Friday.
Feeling really awesome this morning so wanted to quickly update. Had our monitoring today for day 12 and I have 20 follicles - all measuring 9mm-14mm - most of them at 12-13. My dose was dropped a little (200), so I don't explode but they're looking at retrieval for Sept 4! Super excited! DH says I have rockstar ovaries!

May I join? I'm coming over from the August tropical ovaries group and I just learned this morning that my first IVF cycle has resulted in a BFN. I'm a bit upset. My rational side is telling me that I have a number of good frosties, so more chances but my emotional side is just saying, this hurts!
I've been around the board for a little while now. My husband and I started seeing an RE back in December because my cycles were very long and we had no luck. Went through a few IUIs as you can see in my siggy and also an ectopic that was so challenging and then a few more IUIs before moving onto IVF. In other words, my journey has been quite similar to many on this board.
I've really valued the wealth of information and support this board provides. IFsucks, plain and simple. And none understands it until you go through it!
I will be moving on to an FET right after I get my period so I'll be right within the September timeframe.
Hoping to get to know you ladies better through this month.

Tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday) is the big day. We just got back from a long weekend in Key West, so I am pretty relaxed. I am forcing myself to stay off work e-mail until Wednesday morning. I'm going to work from home that day to continue some relaxation.
I didn't pack the right kind of needles, so I had to do 2 shots with the 18 gauge needles. They HURT. You can definitely tell the difference. I won't be making that mistake again!!
Best wishes for all the other September ladies!

Good Luck Everyone, I keep on reading everyones updates - but it's hard to reply to everyone I hope ever ones retrievals and transfers go smoothly with lots of excellent reports in the coming days and weeks.
I just got this text from the embryologist……
"Good morning Jessica Everything is fine the 8 embryos divided 2 of them 8 cells. 3 of them 6 cells and the rest 4 cells
We will do the embryo transfer on day 5 Thursday. The 8 cells and 6 cells embryos are all grade one"
The 6 cells, will likely be 8 cells by the end of the day as it has not been a full 72 hours since fertilization has happened yet, i think she injects them about 12/1 on the day of retrieval and it is only 9 30 here now.
However even the 6 cells are on par as to where they should be for a day 3, all studies show that the best results for a 3 day embryo is to be between 6 cells - 10 cells.
Grade 1 is the absolute best in my clinic
so we’re on for transfer on Thursday at 2pm
They will AH them before they transfer - unless they are of course already hatching
I've never had a day 5 transfer before so blasted excited
