Hi everyone! I am 15w4d and I am still sick everyday. I can only eat tiny meals or I will have vomiting and so far I have lost close to 30 pounds. Has anyone had anything like this??? Should I be concerned or could this be perfectly normal? Thanks!!!
I still do a little bit, mostly triggered by things I've eaten.
A couple weeks ago, I actually opened my door at a red light and barfed in the median. I haven't seen that horrified panhandler standing 5ft away since, so it's not necessarily a bad thing.
Thanks! I mean I am not complaining about losing so much weight because I won't have to buy new pants as my stomach grows and I definitely had a few extra pounds to lose. It's just being a FTM everything makes me nervous. I appreciate the pep talk!!!
I try to keep something small in my stomach at all times. I also find that cold vitamin water zero xxx helps, as do b natal drops and preview pop drops. None of these things eliminate it but they do provide temporary relief.
Almost seventeen weeks and still dealing with m/a. With DD, I had it until 20 weeks! This time it isn't as severe.
With how much weight you have lost, have you been started on zofran and checked to see if you have HG (hypermesis gul... Not sure on spelling or last part).
I have some morning sickness still. Talk to your doc about medication to help. 30 pds seems like too much weight loss to me, but I'm a ftm so I don't know everything! Good luck Hun, hope it settles down for you!
The puking has slowed down - now it's just a few time a week - but I still get a gag reflex quite often and a terrible taste in my mouth after eating.
I am VERY ready for this part to be over. I am feeling myself get some energy back at night, so maybe amazing second trimester feeling is around the corner
I still have morning sickness as well, and I too have lost 30lbs. Whats worse is the zofran is making it hard to use the bathroom, even with a half tablespoon of MoM, if I strain even just a tiny bit, I vomit. Its maddening.
Glad it isn't just me. I went to my dr to get meds. They prescribed me some and when I went to fill them, insurance didn't cover them. So I guess it is what it is. Trying to look on the bright side but sometimes it's pretty tough! I hope it will get better soon!!!!! Thanks for the love everyone!!!!
I'm 16 weeks and still get super naseus. If I eat saltines and take a Zofran before I get out of bed, I'm good. The prenatal pops are also great to get me through until I feel like eating.
I am 15 weeks and still getting naseous ! I'm glad I'm not the only one . It definitely has gotten less severe but it is the worst driving and I have a long commute (
14 weeks on friday & still nauseous! Im so bored of it now. Cannot wait for the day i wake up & actually feel human! Mine isnt as bad as it was but still feeling pretty rough. Some people do get it most of the way or all of the way through their pregnancy unfortunately. If i were u id go to the docs if u haven't already & ask for help. Hope everyone feels better soon!!! :-)
Went two days feeling ok, thought this was over. Than today, ugh. 17wks and still miserable. The anti nausea meds give me horrid migraines so i'm just hoping it ends soon.

I had Hyperemisis Gravidarum with my last pregnancy but thank everything I can that I don't have it this time. I am 14 weeks Friday and still have morning sickness. I'm on Zofran but it doesn't always work, neither do the seabands. I've been sucking on hard candies and chewing gum between meals and that helps a little. Bread and pasta help me too.
Im 15 weeks 4 days and still got horrendous nausea and sickness is on And off! Along with that i have awful diziness and migraines so cant go out at all.. Have been like this since i was 8 weeks and have had days where i cant eat or drink at all.. Really hope this doesnt last till the end...
It's so weird. I didn't have nausea during the first tri, but now I'm getting it on and off most days. The one thing holding steady is my aversion for anything that isn't a carb. Carbs are ALL I WANT.
Still sick here. I've been on Diclegis for over a month now, which is a lifesaver. But I'm still queasy throughout the day. I eat to keep the nausea at bay, but I've been gaining more weight than I'd like, thanks to that. Ready to be past this part for sure. 10 weeks of feeling sick every day is exhausting!
Occasionally now at 16 weeks. It's was unbelievably bad until 14 1/2 weeks. But now it's just when I eat to late or I don't have a protein while eating or if I have heartburn.
16 weeks 3 days and still on my nausea meds. Apparently they want to check my thyroid at my visit next week to make sure nothing else is going on since "most people" feel better by now
My nausea has pretty much stopped. I only get it when I need to eat. I hope those of you that has it still feel better really soon and that it goes away.

Hang in there.

The people at my bus stop side eye my dry heaving EVERY morning while we wait.
Once I get my coffee and food at work I am fine.
