How did everybody do last week with their goals? What are your plans for the coming week - changing up your eating habits, adding a new exercise program, etc? If you didn't have goals last week, no worries - just jump on in here!
Let's hear it here!
And now for the required silly gif. She is definitely doing something wrong!
Goals last week 1. Track food - nope 2. 8000 steps x3, 10000 x2 - smashed this one I actually did 10000 x3 and 8000 x2 3. Cut down on sugar - nope 4. Cut pizza night in half - we didn't have pizza night because we had a neighborhood party...BUT I didn't overdo it, and didn't even have birthday cake
All-in-all, I was happy with the week because my activity is so much higher (I'm starting to get to the point where I look for opportunities to move and work out, which is a total 180), and i ended up with a 0.5 pound loss even without strictly adhering to calories (which I know won't last).
This week's goals:
1. Track food 2. Cut down on processed sugar 3. 10000 steps x3, 8000 steps x2 4. Cut pizza night in half (since I didn't get a chance to test my willpower last week!)
Last weeks goal: walk 3-4 times for at least 30 minutes and cut out the junk food.
Walking was a complete failure. Didn't get out even once, and what's worse is I just made excuses all week for it. It's too hot out, baby was fussy. I live in FL so it'll be hot out until November most likely, and baby will always be fussy at some point. I did cut out the majority of junk food, so that's a plus.
This weeks goal will be the same. I'm happy to say I went for a walk with LO this morning so it's a good start!!
I'm in a funk, so I think my only goal for the week is to work my way out of the funk. And to do it without rewarding myself like a dog, with food treats.
I had a shitty run on Friday and haven't run since. I'm hoping to get out there tomorrow and have a positive run.
Last week sucked! LO is not gaining weight, so we went back to an every 2 hour feeding schedule, plus pumping every 2 hours and doing all the suggestions for increasing milk supply so LO has more available to eat. Seriously, I was chained to my pumping chair or feeding chair.
This week, I'm still working on my schedule, but will be more flexible with my pumping schedule (now that I am getting what she needs to eat daily). Bottles can travel with us. I still just want to average 7000/day for the week. And keep my water to 100 oz + a day.
So far so good - DH and I took LO and the 2 older dogs to the creek for a walk this evening. Tomorrow night is a downtown walk and farmer's market. Wednesday is dog training. All of those days will be over 8K, so at least we are off to a good start.
I'd like to start! I didn't know we were doing this!
No goals last week but down 12lbs since pre-pregnancy. (I could only eat fruit and veggies during pregnancy due to nausea and did pre-natal aquatics).
Goals this week: 1. Drink 100pz of water 2. Track food 3. Look into fitbit/app for tracking exercise.
I just had a D&C so exercise this week will be almost nothing to help stop my bleeding, but I'm hoping to get into the water and do aqua aerobics sooner rather than later!!!
I just had a D&C for retained membrane. I hear you on the horrible bleeding episodes, wanting to get out and do normal things but can't, etc. Hang in there!
I'm bumping this up! I hope everyone's week is going well. Today went to hell with food, but I'm getting more steps in than ever, so I can't be to sad.
Someone want to call me out next week? I've been terrible about interacting because I've been making bad choices. This girl needs some accountability. I got my treadmill and went shopping. I just need to do this for real. Buying shit isn't progress! I need to use it!
Ok! I will Make a point to be more active here next week!!
I've done over every goal this week. I've been running to a local park every morning, playing with DS1 for a while, then running home. I did 12k yesterday morning! Then, at naptime I've been doing HIIT workouts or circuits. I am exactly 1.2lbs away from my first goal!!!!
Wow! That's amazing! I'm still 6 pounds away this gives me extra motivation!
I've been doing terrible with food and water, but I had a wake-up call last night. I went for a run and only ran 1 mile because it sucked SO BAD. I feel like a little self reflection and I remember that when I'm not getting enough water or eating like shit, working out is harder. And I don't need anything else working against me besides the extra weight I'm carrying around.
So, today I've cleaned up my diet and gotten rid of the extras. No more snacking. I really should go back on my GD diet, but I"m not quiet ready for that yet. I've had protein with both breakfast, lunch and early dinner. My goal is one more light/healthy snack before bed.
Heading out to run now, and not coming back until I hit 3 miles. I have my first 5k next weekend and I plan on not making it my worst ever (must beat my current worst race record of 36min).
I've had 100oz of water today and I already feel so much better than I have in days. And I forgot what hydrated pee looks like!
Joining this group late but want to play too! Got my fitbit yesterday. Thought the sleep analysis was hysterical! Too bad they don't have a BF option to add. Overall happy with it!
Goals this week - 1) Go for a walk at least once a day (rainy days use treadmill) 2) Lose a pound
Let's see, last week's goals were met! I have been getting anywhere from 10,000-13,000 steps per day so I think it is time to raise my minimum threshold to keep myself challenged. Nothing crazy though, maybe just 100 per week.
I kept moving last week and got my 30 minutes of moderate-intense activity a day. This is something I want to keep up.
Food tracking went very well last week too and with all of my efforts, I saw some loss!
I kept the same goals for this week and will update on those tomorrow!

@BPaws - where you at girl? ! I hope everything is alright
I ate clean when we didn't have guests, which was often last week.
This week, I want to walk 60k steps and not binge with the start of college football.
I have 27 of the 60 pounds I gained left to lose. I think I'm on track for my Christmas goal.
Let's finish strong!
