? for those who use Angelcare Monitors

I bought an Angelcare monitor several months ago and it worked fine until about two weeks ago.  As soon as I would bring my phone into the room with the parent unit, it would start making horrible noises.  I thought maybe it would work better here at our new place because there would be more distance between the base and parent unit.  It's actually worse here, but only when my phone is in the room.  I've had this phone since before I had the monitor so it doesn't make a lot of sense.  Has this happened to any of you?  How did you fix it?  

Sorry to P&R, but we're off to drop off the U-haul, pick up DH's car, and turn our keys over to our landlord (and do some MAJOR grocery shopping).

I don't have problems with my phone interfering with it. I keep the base on the floor next to the crib and I do have to make sure that it isn't too close to being under the crib, or it will start making noises on the monitor.

We don't have an angel care...but to go along with @econmama‌...

DH was really picky when we bought our monitors about frequency. As cell phones and other things tend to use the same as most monitors.
