I am about to start my first injectibles cycle with IM Repronex shots. I am scared about side effects, and that my husband will have trouble giving me the shots. Any advice?

I would suggest icing the injection spot for about 5-10 minutes before the injection.
Good Luck!

I hear you-I have done sub q on my own but the im injections I am not looking forward to....But Babbsy is right I think the build up is worse than the actual shot...GL!
Its the anticipation. Make sure he does them fast and there won't be any pain. I've done them myself in the past because I was too afraid DH would go slow because he didn't want to hurtme.

Like the other girls said, just make sure DH goes in nice and fast - straight in and straight out. ?For my PIO shots, it also helps when he injects the meds nice and slow instead of too much at once.

I was worried about how competent my husband would be with the shots, not being a medical professional and all, but now I call him Dr. Sweeney. The more relaxed you are, the less you will feel it so try to relax as much as possible.
Re: I am scared about the shots.
The worse part is the anticipation for the shot.
I would suggest icing the injection spot for about 5-10 minutes before the injection.
