fitbit, jawbone, etc

Does anyone have one of these?

I'm considering getting one but I don't have a smartphone so I'm not sure how useful it will be.  We have an iPad but it only has wi-fi, not 3G.

Would I still be able to use it?

    I have a fitbit. Before I got my iPhone4s I could go on my laptop (wi-fi as well) and it worked.

    I had a Fitbit Force. I could look at my stats on the watch and it would send me a weekly report to my email. I liked it before it started giving me a rash on my wrist.

    Love my fitbit and yes you can just connect it to your iPad through wifi and bluetooth.
