I cannot believe that Labor Day is next weekend! Are you excited that summer is almost over or no? What do you have planned for next weekend?

Next Friday we leave for SF (from NY) to visit my family!! I'm very excited and just pray that the plane ride with MH and 1 yr old DD goes smoothly! I want to go to a water park with small wading pools and a museum while we're there! I'm also looking forward to a spa day with my BFF (she is due in Dec) as we'll be celebrating her bday!
I really cannot believe it's next week! I feel like our babies will all be here before we know it!!

Saturday we are having a big party for the first LSU football game.  My plan for Monday is to just relax the day away!

We thought about having friends over for a BBQ, but with our uninvited, non-rent-paying guest in our kitchen (see my earlier "Rat in Mi Kitchen" post), I'm too mortified to invited anyone over my house for fear that a rat will come running across their path.  I like long weekends with nothing in particular planned. 

ETA: we'll also be hitting the Y pool for our last round of the summer.  I'm not sure what I"m going to do on weekends with DS once the pool closes.

We are heading to our family cottage as far as I know. Although we head there most weekends in the summer so it's not a big exciting getaway. But I love spending time with my family regardless!

I am also very excited to say good bye to summer and hello to fall!!

We have a reunion BBQ with my dad's side of the family on Saturday and a friend's BBQ on Sunday.  DH is in charge of the ribs and I'm making Loaded Baked Potato Salad.  Hope I can eat again by then!!  Lately LO is making me feel like I have an anvil in my stomach after a few bites.

Going to a family cookout.    I cannot believe its almost labor day.   I LOVE summer,  its my favorite season,  I am always cold,  and I love the heat...............HOWEVER for the first time in my life,  please give me fall !!!   I am so tired of sweating.    Tired of being hot even with the AC blasting on me....etc.     Bummer that once baby comes along I won't be a human oven anymore,  just in time for the snow to fall.

DH and I are going to insulate the plumbing in our master bath and fix the leaky drain on our Whirlpool tub. This requires climbing in to the crawl space and maneuvering around in there. I want to say that it shouldn't take too long, but home improvement projects always take longer than expected...

I am looking forward to being able to use the Whirlpool tub again...

DH's redneck family is hosting a BBQ. I love them with all my heart. They cook for probably around 75 people and it is so much fun.

I'm in a wedding on the Saturday, so that will be fun! Other than that I don't have too much planned. DH is working, so I'll probably just take it easy otherwise. Maybe get some things done for the LO.

Family will be coming to help us move the queen bed out if baby's nursery and bringing furniture upstairs, so I'll be nesting!

I will be hanging out at the pool all weekend, weather permitting. Need to get my money's worth out of my swim suit since I finally found something the beginning of this month.

I'm going to visit my family.  They've planned my shower for that weekend as it's the last time everyone will be able to make it (my family is pretty spread out).  I'll be coming home on Sunday and taking Monday to rest as I go back to school on Tuesday.

Instead of getting kids ready for back to school, I'll be getting ME ready for back to school. It will likely include trying on every shirt I own to see if my out-of-control-nipples poke through. They will. So then maybe shopping.

I can't believe that it's Labor Day, this year has totally flown by! We are going to Texas to spend the weekend with several friends, I am really looking forward to it!! And also trying to gear up for all the questions about my pregnancy/baby/everything that will come from the friends I haven't seen in forever. Maybe I should just make a sign and put it on my back that goes something like this:

-29 weeks
-Don't know the sex, husband does
-No, that's not been hard for us at all
-Plan on birthing with a midwife in a hospital
- yes I feel great (other than fact I can't bend over and it's hellishly hot)
-yes I have a doula
-and NO, YOU MAY NOT TOUCH MY BELLY, IT'S MINE.

Not necessarily in that order, I think the belly thing should go first.

There is a huge consignment sale that weekend so I'm going to hit that up.  Other than that, I don't have anything planned.

Our shower is on the 31st and then I start a staycation the following week. I see shopping, napping and nesting in my future.

Prepping the nursery but hoping to get a lot of relaxing in too. Can both of those things happen? I'm skeptical X_X

I clicked staycation. DH is off work and DS and I both are out of school so we'll just do something as a family. Idk what yet, but hanging out is definitely on the agenda. lol

It is much too busy already. My office fantasy football draft is Saturday morning, the first USC home game is Saturday afternoon/evening, and my husband's co-worker's wedding is Sunday night. I'll probably be helping out with baby shower prep on Sunday/Monday if I'm not in the office. We're totally swamped with a big litigation case where my boss is an expert witness. I've been at work at least a few hours every day for the last three weeks.

I definitely hope to be prepping the nursery, especially since several pieces of furniture have taken up temporary residence in our garage. Also the 23rd is the shower my mom is throwing for me so I will have a pile of stuff from that. Right now the nursery is a mostly empty room containing an exercise machine that needs to be removed and nothing else, we are so not organized right now!

My shower is on that Saturday which originally seemed weird and too early. Now I can't believe how quickly it's coming up and it's exciting!!! I'm guessing that Sunday I'll order everything I don't receive. Hopefully will be nesting and getting everything setup and ready.

SS* baby shower that Saturday! I am so excited to see some friends who I haven't seen since my wedding.
Also, mock if you must, but I'm looking forward to the yarn "how big is mommy" game, but we'll see how I feel about if after I see some of the guesses.

I plan to have a long weekend filled with lots of pee and poop... we are attempting the 3 day potty training thing with DS since it basically requires you to stay home for 3 whole days since you have to put the kid on tue potty like every 20mins.

I won't have 3 more days in a row off work till maternity leave and I would rather not try to tackle potty training with a newborn....

Our friends in the Chicago area are throwing us a shower that Saturday so we are traveling there for it.  I'm excited to see all our friends from there as well as part of my husband's extended family.

We close on our new house this Monday and we are moving Labor Day weekend!!

My older sis (who is also a Nov 14 mom, but is not in this group) is flying into town for our joint baby shower that weekend! I don't get to see her often, so I am SO excited to share more pregnant sis stuff with her

I know it's just a day away but I'm dying for it to be Friday!!!! I am soo ready to get on a plane and get out of here!!! Plus I am thinking of all of the food I will be eating this weekend and seeing my family and BFFs!!! I hope today goes by quickly!!
