DD has always been a good sleeper doing 12-13 hours a night. She's had her phases probably due to teething where she's had a bad week here and there, but it's been months since she's woken up crying in the MON. But last week she woke up once and it took me 1.5 hours to get her back down. Then the past 4 nights she's woken up. It's killing me because I don't know if it's cuz she's teething or because she has to pee (she's potty trained now)...but some nights she wakes up and is miserable and won't go back down..some nights I just let her pee on the potty and she goes right back down.
Between her waking up and DS waking up, I am getting almost no sleep some nights. I don't know if I'm forming bad habits with DD but with her being PTed, I have no choice but get up with her. I can't make her hold her pee.
I just really hope that she's waking up for other reasons (again, maybe teething) and then realizing she has to pee...that she's not actually waking up because she has to pee. Due to her young age and her kidney issues, she pees very frequently and she isn't able to just get up and go on her own, so this could be very bad..

Re: Not sleeping..
Other than nights with teething problems, she doesn't really stay up after I put her back down.
After a few months, he was able to wake himself when he felt he had to go & wasn't waking upset crying anymore bc he was fully aware of what was going on.
It's the downside of your dd being pt'ed so early. Her body probably has a ways to go before she is night trained & she still needs assistance going to the potty.
I agree about putting her in nighttime pull-ups & getting her a seat for her room. It will streamline the nighttime peeing process & hopefully allow her to go back down quicker. GL!
