High Chair Recs

I'm looking for some space saver high chair recs.  I was originally planning to get the Fisher Price Healthy Care one, but I've read a few reviews that say bigger babies don't fit in it well (after about 25 lbs).

Does anyone have a seat they love? I'd love it if it can be a booster later too.

Re: High Chair Recs

  • We used the fisher price space saver chair that you strap to a regular dining room chair with DS1. He used it from 4 months old through 30+ lbs and we loved it. We're getting a second one for the twins.

  • We just put Mia's together. Hilo by age. Love it. I've heard good things about oxo tot as well.

  • We have a boon. Our two year old still uses it but he is about to be displaced so the baby can use it. It's pricey but I love that it has no cushions or crevices that are hard to clean. I wipe it down and it's clean.

  • I have a two year old version of the one @bennieangel has. Mine does not have a 5 point harness like the newer model. (3 point)

We bought a second one as soon as DS1 started going to grandmas when I went to work.

    Mine is this exact model:

(I found this pic on EBay and advertised at $153. I did NOT pay $153! I paid $48)
  • We have the one you linked and we love it!  Fits DD (almost 3) and DS (25lbs).

This. We have the same one. It is also easy to adjust height (so she can sit at our table and the counter easily).
  • We have 2 of these...21 mo old fits just fine.  We no longer use the tray, though.  We push her chair right up to the table so she eats off a plate like we do.  DD2 (5 mo) sits in hers and bangs on the tray (not eating solids yet)
  • We got this Evenflo one on Amazon.  I like it because it doesn't take up a lot of space (although it doesn't fold), it's easy to wipe clean, and the fabric is machine washable if needed.  It also becomes a child's chair and table when they outgrow using it as a highchair.
For $40 we figured it's worth it even though we originally wanted one that became a booster seat.  We'll just get a standalone booster when we need it and then LO can use the table when she's older - or we'll use it as a high chair for a second baby.
