I have NO idea why The Bump let me start a thread and then decided I was not worthy of posts I changed my profile picture to a screenshot of them telling me that--I assumed it was like Facebook where you could enlarge profile pictures but then I couldn't figure out how to do that. Anyway, if you couldn't read it then it said "Welcome to the community! You need to have been a member of The Bump for a couple days before you can start to contribute. In the meantime, check out what other Bumpies are talking about." I'm sorry that I now seem like such a weirdo

As mentioned, I am hesitant to share much online because I have seen way too many documentaries (anyone see Tall Hot Blonde?! It's on Netflix) and watch too many crime shows so I can understand others being skeptical as well. I do post photos of my little dude on FaceBook because I have it private and that makes me feel like I have more control over who is looking at my photos/information compared to an online forum. I promise I am not a catfish. I hope that you all believe me!

I am going to try and answer all of the questions that have been asked but first thank you to all who complimented my LO
I am from New Jersey.
My son is currently eating rice cereal (we started not too long ago) and I interested in BLW. He has his 6month check on Monday and I was not sure how to bring that up to the pedi when asked which is really what made me decide that it was time to join a message board. I always see message boards from Baby Center during my Google hunts. I downloaded but that app and this one (I had heard of it from other people), made an account on each, looked around a bit, and liked the feel of yours better and tried to jump in. You guys talk about sex toys...obviously you have Baby Center beat.
I would be suspicious of any individual who does not like Mean Girls so I thought it would be something to catch everyone's attention. I was also disappointed that my post was on Thursday and not on a Wednesday because otherwise there would have been a pink comment as well. I like to think I'm super clever but in reality I'm a total nerd (but not a very smart one because I didn't do too hot on that grammar test someone posted on here).
I work in a group home and have a decent amount of downtime while at work off and on which is when I did my lurking. It is also when I will probably be the most active on here.
I binge watched Orange is the New Black when it was released. My only issue with it was that Alex's hair looks better while she is locked up in prison than mine does even though I have access to hair products.
I do shop online. I regret to inform you that I have not bought anything based off a F14 recommendation...yet I do want to try making storage boxes for toys our of diaper boxes though after seeing that idea last night!

You say that you are skeptical of the internet and cat fishing, but included a picture of both yourself and you LO in your first post?

I've been here over a year and am not very active, but you seem super familiar with the F14 lingo for being here a handful if days...

I included the picture because people thought I was someone else. I did not say either of our names and don't plan on posting other pictures and would like to delete the current one of possible. What would I gain from faking time on here? If you all don't want me to post that's fine

I just don't know what I am supposed to say or do if you guys are suspicious about me. I just wanted to talk to some other moms about baby things. I'm not trying to steal anyone's identity or baby pictures or stir up trouble

Some of us have been burned more then others. Some are willing to open heartily accept you, till proven otherwise. As well all groups, we all have individual pasts that helped mold us today.
