New mom-to-be Intro from 3T

Hi ladies,

I'm Shannon, and I am thrilled that today I get to move from 3T to PAIF! We just got our BFP this morning from our first IUI cycle that we had during the end of July. I am 14dpiui and my HCG is 213 and Progesterone is 31. I go back on Monday to see how the numbers have jumped.

Here is a little about us:

I am 29 and my hubs is 28, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin's Lymphoma in March 2013 and I had ABVD chemo until 10/13. I am now in remission! The chemo was thought to have a negative effect on my egg quality and quantity, and I was not able to ovulate on my own. We didn't have time to freeze my eggs before treatment began, so after chemo ended, we continued to see our 1st RE to talk about a plan and she had told us that I had no good quality eggs and was premenopausal. Obviously, this didn't sit well with me, and she put me on Estrace, which ups your cancer probability by quite a bit if you have already had cancer. I didn't stay on Estrace long, when we got more opinions from different doctors in CT and NYC.

Ultimately, we settled with an RE that we felt extremely confident with, and he started us with our first IUI. I stimmed for 6 days on 150 iu Gonal F and triggered with Ovidrel before having our IUI on 7-24. DH had a great SA of 80 million post wash, and I had 2 mature follicles of over 20mm. We just found out today that I am pregnant, and am so thrilled!
