How many pairs of shoes do you have for your son (or sons)?

I think we are at that point were my son is in need of new shoes again and I am debating whether or not I should spend the money and get the shoes that are machine washable (last time i got a great deal on a pair and I loved them) or buy more than one pair of shoes. As his shoes seem to get dirty and stinky quick quickly - he's a boy. what would you expect!

typically we had just been buying one pair as he has been growing out them relatively quickly...

DS has an everyday pair and then a nicer pair.

I buy the BOGO 50% from Rack Room Shoes - I have been buying Converse, one for school one for weekends.

I'm kind of a crazy shoe person. DS currently has a pair of Adidas tennis shoes, Nike sandles and a pair of Keen shoes. This was to get him through the summer, early fall. His feet grew like whoa since the beginning of summer. Before that I'm embarassed to say how may he had. And I just bought him a pair of Stride Rites on Zulily today for the fall/winter. Oops.

See if DS was a girl this would totally be me

but since he's boy I am stingy with his shoes!

I am also looking at buying a larger size on zulily today but cannot decide what to buy... i am a mess of indecision!

My boy is way older but he probably has 10 pairs of shoes. 6 of those are flip flops. It was easier when he only wore rain boots.

He usually has 1-2 at most. He always has a pair of gym shoes. Then in the summer he also has sandals/crocs and in the winter he has boots and may have dress shoes. He rarely needs dress shoes so I don't get them often.

I'm known around these parts as the shoe whore. My boys usually have 15 each in their current size. I usually buy Livie and Luca, Converse, Vans, and a skate shoe like Emerica or Etnies. They both have rain boots, water shoes, and flip flops even though my s12 will not wear the flip flops for more than a minute. I resell their shoes for pretty close to what I pay for them so it is beneficial for me to buy more so they all stay in good condition. I just sold 5 pair of Leo's shoes this week and made $120.

Ethan has about 5 pair. Sneakers, Toms, crocs, sandals and water shoes. In the winter he usually has three: sneakers, boots that double as nicer shoes and rain/snow boots.

Umm, I forgot about his TOMS. So currently 5 pairs.

A lot. He currently has a couple pairs of sneakers, and sandals in rotation. He gets all of keagans hand me downs. Keagans feet haven't grown in a long time so he has 10+ pair that fit him right now but I'm screwed when he finally has this growth spurt.

Owen has two pairs. Both are Stride Rite since he has his daddy's wide feet. He's currently in 7XW. We have one tennis shoe type pair and one that are similar to Keens so they aren't the fully enclosed shoe. They're great with socks or without and help keep his feet cool on hot days. I guess we don't really have a "dress" pair, but we haven't had anything to dress up for lately.

I saw Zulily has Stride Rite today, although I bet they're picked through by now.

DS currently has sandals, water sandals, 2 sneakers & a rugged hiking type sneaker/shoe.

In the winter, he usually has a pair of sneakers & a pair of boots.

N has 2 pairs. One pair of crocs which I hate but seems to be the only pair he wears right now during the summer. He has one pair on nicer sandals that I force on him when we go to nice places. Oh, and 1 pair of runners I guess- they might be too small though- he hasn't worn them in awhile!!

Liam has 5 pairs of Freshly picked moccs, 1 pair of Converse, 1 Nike sandal, 1 dressy sandal, and at least 4 other pairs of Jordan's. Baby shoes are my secret addiction though.
