Macrobid daily rest of pregnancy

A little background, in feb I had a miscarriage at 16 weeks do to undiagnosed infection, E. coli. This pregnancy I have already gotten 2 uti, I'm ten weeks. Today at doctor the doctors decided I need to take macrobid daily after I get rid of this uti, to sterilize my urine. Anyone else have to do this? I'm not looking for mean comments, I know there are some risk, but nothing as far as lossing my baby due to undiagnosed uti.

    ****lurking**** I was on it my entire pg with DD due to chronic kidney infections/uti's. As you said, the benefits outweigh the risks. GL

    I am on it right now for a UTI. I have heard of people taking it to avoid/prevent further infections throughout their pregnancy. Best of luck to you.
