This story made me sick

This news is terrible.  What's worse in Indiana they have laws that allow any Adult to take a unwanted child less then 30 days old to a emergency room, fire station, or police station with no questions or punishment.  What's worse where this business is there is a fire station RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET!!!!!!  This made me sick to my stomach when I heard this story

Yeah, I have a hard time reading this stuff.  My SIL would love to have their own kids but due to medical issues with her and BIL they can't and have to adopt.  Then there are these women who just throw away their babies.  Makes me so mad.

This makes me soooooo outraged and sad. I've honestly been trying to avoid the news lately because I can just feel my blood boiling in situations like this one. I am glad the baby was found in time and that they were able to save him. Absolutely no excuse for what this woman did.

What a horrible human being. She should be locked up and sterilized. I have a hard time reading about people that abandon their kid(s) but this takes the cake.

Are you kidding me?? What a disgusting woman! She thought the baby wouldn't survive, yet she put a tampon in his mouth and wrapped toilet paper around his neck to make sure of it. She will be found guilty and if so she better get the max she can! I don't see how she can live with herself. Poor baby boy, hopefully he finds the family that will love him the way he deserves.

Normally I feel very sorry for the women in these types of stories.  I can imagine scenarios in which fear + lack of knowledge + complete denial + raging hormones could lead someone to pretend not to be pregnant and try to hide the "evidence" after delivery (dissociating from the fact that the baby is an actual human).  While I would hope they would find a safe haven to leave the baby, I can understand how some women may not know that this is an option - and with serious denial may not do any research to figure out their options.

The fact that this woman not only abandoned the baby, but also tried to kill it just makes me sick.  I hope that poor baby is doing well now and I hope they can find a loving home for it.

I'm cold and heartless and have no sympathy for women in this situation.

There's a gal from the city where I grew up who is currently facing 6 counts of murder because her husband found the remains of 7 full term babies stuffed in boxes in her garage. She has 3 grown kids and her husband is the father of all 10 of them. He had no idea about any of the pregnancies except the 3 living ones.

There's a lot of crazies out there that wouldn't even do this. She plead not guilty???? Um... So you didn't do it??? You admitted to putting your baby in the trash can and you plead not guilty??? That's what's wrong with younger people. They can't own up to what they do wrong and place blame on others or give excuses. I'm a cold hearted bitch too. She will get flamed in prison. They can play let's see how many tampons can we fit in Hollands mouth.
