My endocrinology appointment today went great. I love the doctor, she's to the point but explains everything when asked and she listens!

I've been diagnosed with Hashimoto's and put on Synthtroid. We're also pretty convinced I have PCOS. My mother and grandmother have it and my symptoms are pointing that way. They did more testing today to check for PCOS, Factor V Leiden and Diabetes. I'll get the results in 2 weeks. Planning to add metformin if PCOS is confirmed.

    Great that it is nothing more serious and something very treatable. Also, if you've felt run down and lethargic, you will be amazed at how much better you feel once you have the Synthroid on board and get your thyroid regulated!

    IUI #2 (back-to-back, 9/12/13 and 9/13/13) Femara + Menopur, four mature follicles, BFFN
    IUI #3, 10/8/13 Femara + Menopur, six mature follicles, BFN

    BFP #3, 12/9/2013, while on treatment break, EDD: 8/22/2014  Please stick and grow, LO!

    Additional Dx: hypothyroidism, TgAb positive & anti-TPO positive, POR/DOR (2/2013), and suspected endometriosis

    Glad to hear you like the RE and have a plan! The synthroid could make you feel a little better too. Getting the thyroid under control is great. Will she check your levels in a few weeks to see if the dosage is good?

    Diagnosis: unexplained RPL, unexplained IF.

    Also have hypothyroidism

    Started TTC again 12/2013

     

    IUI#1:Clomid CD 3-7, Trigger'ed CD 12. IUI CD 14. BFN

    IUI #2:Letrozole CD 3 - 7, Follistim CD 9, Trigger CD 10, IUI CD12. BFN

    Current plan: IVF with PGD. Antagonist - Vivelle Protocal. Stim start 12/1. ER 12/14.

    TTC since July 2012 
    BFP 5/22/13. Lap. to remove ectopic and dx with endo. 6/16/13

    RE consult: June 2014

    DX: FVL, endo, hypothyroidism, blocked left tube

    Oct. 2014: First treatment cycle: Clomid+trigger+IUI=BFN

    November 2014: Clomid+trigger+IUI again=BFP!

    BFP 11/28/14 MC discovered 1/14/15

    Thank you ladies for all the support! :) I didn't realize how stressed I'd been over everything until I woke up this morning after 12 straight hours of sleep! I'm relieved to have some answers.
