Soy introduction question

Hi!  My daughter is MSPI.  We got the ok to introduce soy.  She has not had any blood but she does have some mucus mixed in with the poo. She typically had a bit of trouble trying to go when we were not doing soy.  Now she doesn't struggle much and it sounds wet (sorry for the TMI!)  Is any amount of mucus "normal"?  Does this mean we should abort soy again and not try dairy in a week? TIA!
After 4.5 years our miracle IVF baby is here!

Re: Soy introduction question

  • I would talk to your doc and tell them what is going on before continuing see if they think it's normal. My daughter has mspi and although I have not tried to reintroduce soy just yet we did have some accidentally ingested and her poop was def. affected. It was more wet and diarrhea explosion like. She also had issues sleeping and was very clingy and fussy for days. It was horrible.
