My job that is. Remember I was concerned because I wouldn't be covered under fmla since I'll be new teaching in this district? Well I asked my HR contact a few weeks ago about it and he called me back today to let me know that I'd be able to take my unpaid leave and use the sick leave bank and be able to return to my job! He said legally they don't have to hold my position but that they've never had an issue with it and aren't like that to take a teacher's position away. What a huge sigh of relief for me! Now I'm getting excited about back to school!
