Keep it clean ladies so our Mod doesn't have to ref again today
Kitchen is mostly clean and some decorations made (not that I suppose she will know but my 5 year old was excited). Speaking of said 5 year old, he just finally fell asleep at 1 am.
@Alicia0817. I'm sorry you won't be able to fall back asleep. I would be annoyed - sleep is precious. I'm afraid the minute I get to sleep, LO will wake up.
Morning ladies! I love to see an early spam thread but I hate it when I realize that it's mostly because some of you can't sleep
Gerardo started walking a few days ago, but yesterday he was on fire! Up & down around the rooms and the corridor, he even mastered a small step (like 3 cm) from living room to garden! I find it interesting how our babes are developing super differently, my LO doesn't say a word and he cannot even wave good bye, but he is great at motor skills. Thus I am always excited to read about your LOs development because it's almost always (if not always) different than G's
On other news, when does the sex radar included in babies stop working? Last night he 'caught' us twice! twice! He does wake up a lot during the night, but never within minutes :-/

Also, last night was the 3rd night for DH in night duty, he reported feeling 'perfect' this AM... I am planning to push him to the limit which is basically until Friday because then I fly solo with G to Venice and will be there for a few nights with my SIL who is amazing but mostly incapable of babysitting...

Hi everyone....it's 130am here, lo is having trouble falling back to sleep. I'm hoping she will soon , I'm pooped!! Still on holidays and today we are taking the older kids parasailing!! Dd has done it before, but ds hasn't....in hoping he will go through with it.....
Good Morning!! My app keeps crashing and I am heading into Columbus for 2 days of meetings so I may be MIA for a bit.
I uninstalled the app and re-installed and that worked for a little bit but its still crashing. Maybe I need to bite the bullet and upgrade my software...but I have all the pictures on my phone of V that take up all the space.
@lancomechica would it make sense to just use the internet browser on your phone to access TB? I am running on Android and the playstore doesn't have TB for my region lol so I always use chrome and it works quite good
@Karen0477 I hope you get some sleep soon... have fun parasailing!

@Audrey1787 >:D< nausea is another reason why I am not ready for TTC again... sleep deprivation is the winner of course, but nause can lead to sleep deprivation too... so it's a very close second I hope you feel better soon, eat crackers, don't drink too much in one time but stay as hydrated as possible, only that helped me!

Hugs and sleep (or coffee) to the mamas that need it!
Off to my occupational health screening. I don't have all the immunizations my employer wants, so I'm pretty sure to come back with a sore arm (or butt? )
I am wearing work pants today for the first time in... Two years? I wear skirts, dresses, ankle pants, but real suit pants- never. Now I remember why I don't wear them. I don't commute in heels, so I need to roll the bottom, and they don't stay rolled. So. Annoying. But at least my ass looks good
@BetsyD2010 I have been thinking about your DH and his waffle notes. To me, little gestures like that are everything. Those notes are one of the cutest, sweetest things I've ever seen. Just wanted to let you know.

We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.
@dliz87 I'm right there with you, I hate it that they don't stay rolled up so when I do use them I also commute in heels, then when I get home I swear never to do it again, 3 weeks later I do it again... rinse & repeat

UO? I think sometimes there's some over "refereeing" going on. We are adults, not children, if someone wants to duke it out let them. There was no reason to close that second thread IMO. It seems like the minute someone gets their feelings hurt or it starts to get a little headed one must close the thread! It's silly.
Can you come pee on this man on my flight? He is being a real dick!!
Pee on sticks, not on dicks.

Any charting/temp experts? I'm going to post this on TTGP later, but figured I'd try you ladies too.
Since we've been in teething hell, I basically try to take my temp as long as I've had three hours of sleep. Last cycle, it worked fine and I still saw the appropriate temp rise. Last night, P woke up at 2:30 and I took my temp and entered it on my phone. After I got him back down, I went back to sleep and took it again when I woke up at 6. I didn't realize that I had already taken it till I saw that there was a temp already in my phone. So which temp do I use? They're pretty different and the second temp is typically a post O temp for me.
FWIW- I had more sleep with the first temp. The second temp is closer to the "normal" temp time for me. I haven't had a positive OPK yet and I test twice a day, so I'm all confused.

To a point but I also think if left open it would escalate. I also think not all adults always act like adults in the heat of the moment. I try to think of the person who is getting piled on. I think if any of us were the one getting, let's say flamed it wouldn't be so funny.
Incorrect. I've taken my lumps. Guess what... none of those threads were ever closed for me, they were closed for the proverbial "attackers". I know this because there were a few mud slingers because I was the one who had the differing opinion from the "group at large" therefore I was being viewed as the "attacker" even though I never said anything remotely disrespectful. So, no sympathy from me. Pull up the BG panties and deal. This isn't baby center.
Morning Ladies! So my MIL keeps calling herself Mom when playing with Mom. We told her not to do this back when we got Remy. I have asked her not to do this with Alex a fee months ago. Yet she still does it, just adds at the end, " I mean Grandma".
Yesterday she went so far as to refer to me as Grandma. We have wondered a couple of times about her memory. Now I don't know whether to be pissed or worried.
I mean, I was up with him at 2 (bananamergency) and again from 4:30-5:30 (snuggles and *more* banana). But it is doing wonders for me to be able to have some time downstairs with two hands and the ability to bend over without worrying about dropping a baby.

@KikiCohen I'm not an expert by any means, but I think that as long as you've had a long enough stretch of sleep (what's is supposed to be, 3-4 hours?) you would want to go with the same time every day as much as possible. Right?
Maybe you should just have a lot of sex
ETA: FF will let you add notes, right? So I would enter the 6am, note the other temp, and if the rest of your chart seems more consistent with one or the other then you can change it later. But also I think one wonky temp shouldn't throw everything off, right?
ETAA: Right? right? right? I need coffee before I can put words together good.

I've taken quite a few punches here as well over the last year with no interference. I'm not upset about that, though, I can handle whatever comes my way.
But I was thinking yesterday that there have also been others who have gotten piled on with no interference- @cdumovich@darladumo comes to mind as a recent one.
That said, I believe the rules on TB have changed so there's more refereeing in an attempt to prevent flaming turning into personal attacks. I've noticed more threads being closed across the board on various other groups I have lurked or participated in.
I guess it is more an attack on the rule change not the mods... I think the change in TOU were ridiculous and stupid. And seeing that the line doesn't even really get crossed and threads get closed because no one can even toe the line is overkill.

Carrie I'm not going to fight with you but I disagree. I'm also not the mod and don't have to deal with the bs she does so I can't pick what gets shut down. I have zero issue with someone being put in their place but for 20 people to keep stressing the point, it's too much.
Disagreeing and talking about it even if it gets heated to a point is not fighting. I think that gets confused around here a lot.
I wasn't fighting with you either, but you seemed to think I was. See... I was just pointing out my disagreement with your bolded point. That's not fighting Mer.
@gutsymama Yeah, "ideally" you should temp at the same time every day and after about four hours of sleep. Impossible with our current teething status lol Good call about noting the other temp!
So LO decided to celebrate her birthday by getting up at 530 am. After being up from 1 45 - 230. Luckily, DH came up to see her (he could hear her) and played with her for awhile and then got her back to sleep. :-< so very very this today.
Hoping DD gets in the water for swim lessons again today. I am just too tired for the big production that it has been. I wish I liked ~O)
Will have to catch up on everyone after lessons.
We are meeting IL'S for dinner since they happen to not be at the lake. Since it is LO's day, I told DH we have to go somewhere she can eat. Sweet Tomatoes? I have to figure it out this morning.
Not that anyone cares but I've been kind of a lurkey loo lately and haven't been participating much, I am sorry. Hugs for everyone that needs them and coffee for everyone that is sleepy this morning.
I am thinking about trading in my Equinox for something larger, does anyone drive a Chevy Traverse? Like it? Dislike it?
@casey78 I love the look the baby gives her. My son and daughter will say things like, "When I get bigger, then I can take baby out of the crib/carry her/take her on walks/etc". They get upset when I explain when they are bigger, Baby will be bigger too and not a baby.
Sitting at the midwife's office after drinking the glucose drink. It didn't taste bad, but left the grossest aftertaste in my mouth, and now I really want to eat some crackers or something to get rid of it. :-&

@fabk this is just borderline weird! MIL sometimes says to me "your LO" refering to DH instead of LO but that at least makes sense because he is her own LO after all lol I can't picture a reason why she would call herself 'mom' in front of LO 8-}
