@hadams85 How did your u/s go? I hope your u/s on Thursday is reassuring, as well.

@asouza100 How did your follow-up u/s go on the 25th?

@lauraO11 How did your doctor's appt go? Did you decide to ask for betas? Has your 10 week u/s been scheduled?

@jengalbraith818 How are you holding up? August 5th isn't too far away.

@amanda33758 How are you doing? How is the nausea?

@Danielle0311 How are things going for you? Not too long until your nt scan!

@wendyld How are you? Are you still feeling positive? Is your anxiety ramping up for Thursday?

@Morethansparrows08 Are you getting excited for your beach get away? Will you get a u/s at your appointment?

@maryhr1 Another week closer to our appointments! How are you holding up? How are you dealing with all of the other non-pregnancy related stressors in your life?

@TMaggie0424 Are you excited about your appointment on 7/30?

@jcar2 Fx that you have a fantastic u/s today! Let us know how it goes!

@msyrs Have you and Mr. Msyrs decided how and when to announce? How did your MFM appointment go?

@CaraH How are you doing this week? How are your symptoms?

@MrsRoy07 How is the subchronic bleed doing? How are you feeling about it?

@nohalo21 How long do you wait for the Panorama results? How has this week been for you?

@chicagojackie I didn't respond to you last week, i am so sorry :(. I'm glad your progesterone numbers are good and that you have no bleeding! I'm pretty sure the jailers at 26th street won't allow you to bump from there, but i'm sure we could raise bail for you on here! When is your nt scan scheduled?

@lorifromwi I am happy that your baby will be the leader of a baby cohort! Mexico sounds awesome, but between pregnancy and having a newborn at home, I am at a loss for where you are finding your energy! You go, girl!

@sugarpeas79 Symptoms come and go throughout pregnancy. I understand worrying about it, but try not to make yourself nuts. And, do me a favor, find your friend and punch her in the nose for me. She should be reassuring you not causing anxiety. I'm kidding about punching her in the nose, but still...What is the NIPT? I am a sneeze passed 35 and I don't know what that is and now I am a bit worried.

  • @footprint‌ Thanks for the check in! the nausea is okay for today. It really does come and go

    EDD/Week/Fruit: 3/21/15 6w3d sweet pea

Worries (rational or irrational) still this irrational worry that I will wake up and this will all be a dream. But I try to just push that aside.

Appointments scheduled: First u/s 8/4 so a little less than a week I can't tell if I'm excited or nervous or if it's just nausea :-)

Upcoming milestones/Loss dates: my milestone has come and gone so I am breathing a little bit easier.

QoTW: What is your dream car?
Hmm Idk really I like big trucks so maybe something like that.
  • EDD/Week/Fruit
    February 5th 2015, 13 weeks tomorrow, baby is a peach :)

    Worries (rational or irrational)
Nausea is wearing off, not feeling movement yet, still a little early to find the heartbeat on the Doppler..., I'm in limbo for a few more weeks. I wish I could feel the baby, hear the baby..., this nothingness is making me crazy.

    Appointments scheduled
My OB appointment Monday was uneventful in the good way,
(thanks for remembering @footprint !!) No ultrasound for a few more weeks, she was really pleased with my last US results (baby measuring right on track), and she thinks this is all progressing well, I should try to enjoy what moments I can. Easier said than done!

    Upcoming milestones/Loss dates
Wishing the month of September would just be here - let me face it, deal with it, ...sigh..

QoTW: What is your dream car?
I sorta bought my dream car last summer when we were expecting Finn. Subaru Outback. Love it. ...but it I could have a cute summer car/ride it would be a Vespa scooter in powder blue. (I have a knock off scooter in white to match my Outback, but it's not nearly as cool as the real Vespas.

@footprint <3 thanks again for managing this check in. I guess this is my last time here because as of Saturday I will be in my 2nd trimester :)
We leave for Australia on August 7th, which can not come soon enough. The change of scenery is so what I need now.
It's our annual trip to visit the in-laws, always an interesting time. All I can think about is this wood-fired pizza place we go to... seriously completely distracted by this pizza. Kinda pathetic LOL.

@footprint Yes, 1st appt Friday, and I can't wait! I've had 2 people (in the medical field) throw the word twins out there for some reason (though as far as I know there is no reason to think I'd be having twins) so I'm now nervous that there may be 2 in there!

    EDD/Week/Fruit 7.5 weeks, Blueberry!

Worries (rational or irrational) I'm still fearful that loss may happen. We were going to tell our boys (6 and 8) after the appt on Friday, but now my brain is going "well, just because the 8 week checkup is ok, something could still go wrong, so maybe we should wait until 12-13 weeks... Also, nervous that there may be twins in there, but I think that could be awesome.

Appointments scheduled Friday!! 1st OB & Ultrasound

Upcoming milestones/Loss dates EDD for both losses is next month, but I'm really putting a lot of effort into not thinking about that. I'm currently past the milestones for both losses, since I lost both before 7 weeks, so happy to be on the other side of that 7 week mark.

QoTW: What is your dream car? DREAM: '56 Jaguar Roadster... realistic dream: A Jeep or big SUV with 2 rows of seats (and an endless pile of money to pay for the gas)
  • Thanks, @footprint for the check-in!

    EDD/Week/Fruit 1.25.12/14 weeks - Lemon

Worries (rational or irrational) If you've seen my PGaL dreams post, then you'll know that I'm obviously (irrationally) worried about getting bad news at my appointment today.  I've no reason to worry, but I am...

    Appointments scheduled TODAY! 3:30 pm

Upcoming milestones/Loss dates EDD for my twins is Sunday.  Still haven't decided if we'll do something or not, and if so, what.  Haven't really had time to talk to DH about it... He was gone four days last week, and then I was gone Sunday/Monday of this week.  It's been crazy, to say the least.

QoTW: What is your dream car? I actually love the car I'm in now - it's a Mazda CX-9.  Seats up to 7, 3rd row seat folds flat, TONS of cargo space, lots of elbow and knee room for DH (6 foot 1), and plenty of room for the kids to climb in and out, even when both front seats are all the way back.  Also, the passenger doors open nearly 90 degrees, so if ever I need to get something bulky into the back seat, I won't have to deal with trying to squeeze it in.

The boys and I had an absolute blast at the beach.  We arrived Sunday around 6 (I think), the boys swam in the pool for a while, we had fajitas for dinner (and I didn't have to cook OR clean!)  Yesterday, we went to the beach, and my dad took the boys out to the first sand bar and let them ride the waves (in an innertube) back to me.  They had so much fun with that! My oldest tried boogie boarding one of the waves, but he wasn't heavy enough to hold the boogie board down against the waves.  We had sandwiches for lunch (again, no cooking or cleaning for me), played uno, and were all around lazy until 3 when we left to go home.  They really enjoyed playing with my 18 month old niece (who's absolutely adorable!) We took the ferry boat back (didn't take it going down b/c I didn't know it was free).  Got lucky and were situated at the very front of the boat, so we got out and snapped a photo and looked for dolphins.  Didn't see any, but the boys had never been on a ferry boat, so they really enjoyed it.  They were sad that we couldn't stay (everyone else was staying through Thursday morning), but I couldn't afford to take that many vacation days.

TL;DR - Had a great time at the beach! Wish we could have stayed longer, but work wouldn't allow it.

Unsure if I'll be getting an u/s today.  I'm thinking it will be a doppler reading and a fundal height check, but since it's only my second time seeing this doc, I'm really not sure.  I'm sure I'll post an update later this afternoon.

Worries (rational or irrational): That I won't make it to the second trimester

Appointments scheduled: We had an ultrasound last Friday, everything looked GREAT! Looks so much different than the last pregnancy. The Sac is nice and big, baby doubled in size, and the heartbeat increased from 102 to 143! YAY! We have our first OB Prenatal appt this Thursday afternoon, where I'll be 8w4/5d, it'll be 2-3 days past our miscarried date. Crossing my fingers that this will turn out amazing!

Upcoming milestones/Loss dates: This week. This exact time, in March, is when we miscarried. Passing Thursday's ultrasound will be a huge milestone for me!

QoTW: What is your dream car? Oh man, I am a huge car girl, I don't have a dream car because it constantly changes!!!!

  • I just updated in the old thread so I'll wait for the next one to update again -

@footprint the NIPT is Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing, the cell-free genetic screen where they take mom's blood and extract baby's DNA to test for chromosomal abnormalities. I haven't been told the brand of the test yet, but some of the common ones I've seen mentioned here are Harmony and Panorama.

My dream car is a motorcycle - BMW s1000RR :)

Thanks for the check-in, @Footprint! U/S and appointment went great this morning. They were able to find the baby and a strong heartbeat right away. H and I were both tearing up when we saw and heard it.

    EDD/Week/Fruit: Feb 28 (Got a new one today!)/9w3d/Green Olive

Worries (rational or irrational): Feeling pretty good today, so I'm just focusing on that.

Appointments scheduled: First appointment finally happened today. I got back in 4 weeks. The practice that I go doesn't do the NT Scan but they partner for another group to offer it, so I now need to check with my insurance to see if it will be covered and get that scheduled in the next few weeks.

Upcoming milestones/Loss dates: With this appointment, I passed the milestone of when our first LO stopped developing. It was a mmc discovered at 11 weeks, so just need to get through the next couple of weeks.

QoTW: What is your dream car? I will fully admit, I don't know much about cars. I do think a Range Rover is a pretty nice looking car, so I'm going to go with that.

  • Before I get to the questions . . . I just received the results from my lab draw today (a day earlier than I expected to get the results!). HCG: 32,037 (up from 601 fifteen days ago; doubling time ~63 hours); progesterone: 17.2 ng/mL. Can anyone provide insight about these numbers? I'm 6w4d. The HCG seems normal, but I'm not sure if the doubling time is good. I was told my progesterone is fine (anything over 12 is okay with my OB), but two weeks ago it was 29.8 so the drop worries me. I was told that fluctuating progesterone is normal. Thanks in advance for any advice and sorry about the long ramble and questions!

    EDD/Week/Fruit
    3/20/15 - 6w4d - I've heard pomegranate seed and lentil

    Worries (rational or irrational)
I really don't seem to have any pregnancy symptoms. My breasts are less sore than they have been and I've been less fatigued. I may have had a tiny bit of queasiness the past few days, but I'm not sure if it's real or imagined. This worries me, but I'm trying to be grateful that I'm feeling pretty good - I know many women struggle with horrible nausea. I know a lack of symptoms doesn't necessarily mean a doomed pregnancy by any means, but with my BO I didn't have many symptoms so it still scares me.

    Appointments scheduled
Follow-up HCG this Thursday; ultrasound and first OB appointment August 15.

    Upcoming milestones/Loss dates
    None in the near future.

QoTW: What is your dream car?
Right now it's something like a Toyota Matrix. DH and I currently have a 2-door car but are looking for a 4-door hatchback.

    EDD/Week/Fruit:
    February 9
    12 weeks 3 days
    Two big fat juicy plums

    Worries (rational or irrational)
My diet continues to be a worry, but now I'm worried about my lack of activity. I'm normally really active, but I truly haven't felt like it.  I'm headed out of town tomorrow, but when I return, I'd really like to at least take a leisurely walk a few mornings a week.  I think it would help my exhaustion.  Ugh, it sounds so miserable though!

    Appointments scheduled:
Tomorrow at 2 PM (Eastern)!  I received a call yesterday from my OB saying that he knew he'd see me in two days, but he didn't want me to wait for results any longer than necessary (is he a SAINT or what?!).  He just saw the results of our Harmony testing come across his desk and everything looked GREAT!  Everything was low risk.  I have to admit I cried on the phone so he'll probably never call me again :)  We couldn't be more thrilled though!  AND we get to see the ninjas again tomorrow!

    Upcoming milestones/Loss dates:
I have passed all of my milestones about a month ago, but the thoughts never leave me.  Every day, I wake up and listen for the babies.

QoTW: What is your dream car?
Wanna know what's sad?  I'm in it!  We are in LOVE with our Chrysler Town and Country.  We can fit our four dogs and 2 babies with ease.  Okay, maybe not ease, but what DOES fit 4 dogs and 2 kids with ease :)

@Kefttsc How are you feeling about your diet this week? When you use your Doppler, do you hear two distinct hbs?
@footprint you are so sweet to individually check on us each week as well as the main check in.  I was feeling a bit better about my diet, but just downed a Totino's pizza.  It was amazing LOL.  I've tried to notice patterns of when I am eating things that aren't great and be sure to have healthier options for that time of day.  It is SO hard.  I have a hard time late mornings, so I got a bunch of oranges and have been enjoying those lately.  YUMMY!

Yes, when I use the doppler, I can hear two distinct heartbeats.  This morning, Baby A was much faster.  I am so convinced that one is a girl and B is a boy.  A is usually around 175-180 and B is usually around 155-160.  They have different tones too, I swear.  Maybe that's just me.

Worries (rational or irrational): I'm feeling really positive at the moment

Appointments scheduled: last Friday I had a tiny bit of spotting. I called my dr and they moved my appointment up from Thursday to yesterday. I had an ultrasound and the baby measured perfectly on track with a good heartbeat! I am so excited and relieved. My next appt is August 25th, hopefully with an NT scan scheduled sometime soon too

Upcoming milestones/Loss dates: I think as of today I'm officially past my milestone since this is the point we confirmed loss last time!

QoTW: What is your dream car? Oh my. This is too hard. I'd take anything newer these days!

@akleng - Yay for a great appointment and ultrasound today! I'm so happy for you!

    Hello hello :)
Well my MFM appt seemed to have gone well, Dr. Said he was pleased with the ultrasound- today I missed a call from them about the 1st trimester screen bloodwork results and when I called back 20 minutes later they had me leave her a voicemail because she was already gone for the day- really frustrating!
We have told my mom and 2 very close friends, I think we are still holding off until week 15 to announce to the rest of the family though! If it were really up to me if wait until after baby is here to tell anyone! Haha

    Edd/week/fruit: Jan 30, 13wks 4 days, peach

Worries: getting the bloodwork results back from 1st tri screen- I thought we were in the clear with a good ultrasound but anticipation of waiting to hear from counselor tomorrow is driving me nuts!

    Appointments: none until week 15

Milestone/ loss dates: my loss happened between 23-24 wks, so I still have a while yet to go :(

QoTW: I'm not big on cars, I like my VW rabbit and think id like the toureg or Jetta sportswagon next, but my husband has the older car and will get a new car before me so I think we'll be getting a Subaru impreza
  • EDD/Week/Fruit:

    Worries (rational or irrational

The usual. For some reason I am getting really irrationally creeped out that I might be carrying a dead fetus around. Of course I am terrified and hopeful first and foremost, but if the worst has happened, I just want it out.

    Appointments scheduled
Just waiting for my Thurs appointment. Trying to be patient and mostly failing.

    Upcoming milestones/Loss dates:

I will pass my old milestone of 8 weeks this coming Monday. My first loss was in May years ago, so I've already passed that this year.

QoTW: What is your dream car?

I'm not really into cars, but recently I've thought of getting a pickup truck, for my future farm life.

  • Thank you for the check in! EDD/Week/Fruit: March 27/Apple seed Worries (rational or irrational): had some spotting after sex this weekend- freaked the crap out of me. Luckily it's gone, but I've put myself on pelvic rest until further notice. Appointments scheduled: I met with my doctor for my initial appointment last week. My u/s will be between 8-19 weeks (aug 15-29) so just waiting to get the appt card. My next doc appt is the 14th at 8 weeks. Upcoming milestones/Loss dates: my loss due date is in September. They believe that I lost the baby between 8-10 weeks but are unsure as there wasn't enough information due to only finding it via u/s at 16 weeks. QoTW: What is your dream car? I'm really not a car person, so I don't know? Lame I know!

Worries (rational or irrational) Was starting to worry about another MMC. Emailed my OB office yesterday and got a total assinine response. Why do I even try. Still contemplating finding a new OB. I just hate the thought of actually doing it though.

My question was (I know it's still early-before y'all yell at me, lol) could I be able to hear my placenta on my home doppler and not yet be able to find the HB? I've watched many videos on You Tube and am 100% sure that I've found the placenta. Just about down to my pubic bone and a hair to the right of my belly button. It's super strong in about a 1 inch radius area and then fades to either side.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!

Appointments scheduled 8/8 & 8/12...or pretty much an eternity away...

I am sorry that life has you exhausted right now. Wish I had a suggestion or way I could help! I have no advice on the OB issue, but it kinda sounds like you want a better one. But idk.

Not to sound like I never took a health class, but at almost 10w, is the placenta developed enough to hear it? That's my only contribution to the Doppler convo.

I don't think I have ever seen your favorite car. I like it!

The coming and going of the nausea worried me a lot for a while. Then I got kinda annoyed by it because it seems to only show up at the most inopportune times. I feel like being PgAL, I should never complain about being pregnant, but lately, I'm just so tired of it. It's a balancing act, I suppose. Fx for a great u/s!

    EDD/Week/Fruit

Kinda pathetic
    LOL.
You are welcome here anytime you need us! Do they have the Internet in Australia? I'm kidding. Congrats on graduating to second tri! Enjoy your trip. I dreamt of this fried chicken from this place in South Dakota, and when we went they were closed :(. What restaurant is closed on a Tuesday??? My advice, don't wait until the night before you leave to get some of that pizza! I love Vespas, too!

Edited to say I love Vespas instead of I live Vespas.

DREAM: '56 Jaguar Roadster... realistic dream: A Jeep or big SUV with 2 rows of seats (and an endless pile of

    EDD/Week/Fruit: March 6th, 2014/8/Raspberry

I am happy that your u/s on Friday looked so good! Such fabulous news! I am sorry that your loss time is right around now. I hope that it isn't too difficult for you! Fx for another excellent u/s on Thursday!

Okay, thanks! I was figuring that NIPT was something along those lines, but I wanted to make sure. I don't know a lot of female motorcycle enthusiasts, even fewer that fancy foreign ones!

Congrats on the new due date! Is it earlier or later than previously thought? I am happy that your first appointment went well! Fx crossed that your insurance covers the NT scan. EDD/Week/Fruit: 3/3/15, 9 weeks, green olive

Worries (rational or irrational): My worries have gone down a lot.  My biggest worry is just something that could still go wrong

Appointments scheduled: I had an amazing u/s today.  Little baby was measuring about a day or two ahead and was wiggling all over.  He/she had a heartbeat of 177 bpm and we wer able to hear the heartbeat.  DH and I were elated.  I meet with my OB on Monday.

Upcoming milestones/Loss dates: We're past the first milestone, being the first u/s.  Our LO from the previous pregnancy was weeks behind in growth at the first u/s (9 weeks) and passed sometime between 9-11 weeks.

QoTW: What is your dream car? I'm not really sure.  I don't think I have one.  Growing up it used to be a BMW roadster.
Yay for a great u/s with a wiggly baby! Great hb, too! Isn't a good u/s the BEST feeling in the entire world? I hope the next few weeks moving through your loss milestones aren't too difficult.

ETA Yuck, indeed. Someone once told me that cleaning up your own child's poop isn't that bad. They lied. It is awful. Poop everywhere, no matter who made it, is awful.

    EDD/Week/Fruit 9w2d, now a green olive

Worries (rational or irrational)  No real worries as of yet, just trying to make it through the week. I'm doing okay, just looking forward to seeing family and getting closer to the second trimester.

Appointments scheduled 10w appt Thursday, I'm leaving town for a while so they're doing it early

Upcoming milestones/Loss dates I lost my last pregnancy during week 9 so this is a big week for me. I'm excited to make it to 10w

QoTW: What is your dream car? I'm driving my dream car. When we had to move to ND we got my car (an Acura RDX) because it would be safer than my old small Civic

I hope that you are doing ok this week, only a few more days until 10 weeks! Fx for a great appointment on Thursday. Enjoy your time out of town!

Holy Betas, Batman! I know that the doubling time of betas slows after some point, like after HcG gets to 5000 the doubling time can be as much as 96 hours maybe (wow, what a great help I am) but I don't know much about progesterone except that it fluctuates throughout the day. My first and completely successful pregnancy, I had no nausea whatsoever. Some women just don't have it. Symptoms are weird and aggravating. Fx for Thursday's numbers!

@footprint I love you for this check in!

That is awesome that you can hear a difference between your babies even when they are in the womb. I really think you play the song "Everybody was Kung-Fu Fighting" whenever you have a u/s. I'm not sure ninjas do Kung-Fu and I am not sure how racist that song is, but I like the image of having theme music for your twins.

I'm not the best person to ask about diet and activity. I have been weight training for a few months (with doctor's permission) and I have been so exhausted I have been thinking about quitting. But then I realized tonight that no matter what, it makes me feel better, so maybe I should stick with it. Idk. Maybe cut yourself some slack until you are through first tri and your energy starts to return? I mean you have two buns in one oven, it would make anyone tired! Congrats on the Harmony!

My next appt is August 25th, hopefully with an NT scan scheduled sometime soon too Upcoming milestones/Loss dates: I think as of today I'm officially past my milestone since this is the point we confirmed loss last time! Hello hello :) Well my MFM appt seemed to have gone well, Dr. Haha Edd/week/fruit: Jan 30, 13wks 4 days, peach Worries: getting the bloodwork results back from 1st tri screen- I thought we were in the clear with a good ultrasound but anticipation of waiting to hear from counselor tomorrow is driving me nuts! Appointments: none until week 15 Milestone/ loss dates: my loss happened between 23-24 wks, so I still have a while yet to go :( QoTW: I'm not big on cars, I like my VW rabbit and think id like the toureg or Jetta sportswagon next, but my husband has the older car and will get a new car before me so I think we'll be getting a Subaru impreza
I'm glad you don't have much longer to wait to hear from the genetic counselor! I'm glad that the u/s was positive!

For some reason I am getting really irrationally creeped out that I might be carrying a dead fetus around. What time is your appointment on Thursday? I didn't want to admit it to anyone, but I am creeped out by the idea of carrying a dead fetus around, too. It creeped me out when it happened earlier this year, but I didn't want to say anything to anyone about it, so I never did.

I am on pelvis rest. My NP kinda told me to as she was walking out the door and it really pissed me off since it was more of a suggestion than order. How am I supposed to go against her suggestion? Ugh. So. Frustrated! I give pelvic rest two thumbs down and I don't recommend it to anyone ever!

Talk to your doctor, but I am almost positive that sex spotting is caused by your inflamed cervix being irritated by whatever irritated it (not my business what goes where with whom). As long as it is light and doesn't last too long, I think you are good. If you stay on pelvic rest too long, you turn batty and cranky like me, and being me is unpleasant for those around me.

I'm trying to be positive so I will participate in this thread. EDD/Week/Fruit: April 10/ 3w 4d/ poppy seed Worries (rational or irrational): That I will have another miscarriage. It's like I "know" it's going to happen and am just waiting for the bad news. Appointments scheduled: First ob apt 9/2 at 8.5w. Another blood draw thurs to see if my betas are increasing as they should. First beta draw yesterday was a 20. Don't know today's yet. Upcoming milestones/Loss dates: Double whammy for me. Aug 19 was my EDD and on this date I'll be in between my 6-7 week which is exactly when my baby stopped growing last time. If things go bad, it will be pretty depressing. Our 3 year wedding anniversary is in mid August too so I'm hoping for good news. Second milestone is the ultrasound on 9/2 since that is when we found out our baby stopped growing at 6w 3d last time. QoTW: What is your dream car? Not even sure! I really like SUVs but don't have a specific brand.
That is a double whammy  for milestones. Sorry.  My philosophy is this: If you have bad news you will have plenty of time to be negative about it. Since today you are pregnant, you may as well be annoyingly positive! Make an ecstatic uterus for your little bean! Today you are pregnant! Celebrate!

  • EDD/Week/Fruit: 3/19/2015, 6w 5d / Sweet Pea I think

Worries (rational or irrational): I'm now freaking out that my m/s is nowhere near as bad as my other two pregnancies. For the pregnancy that I m/c, I had a feeling something was wrong when my m/s went away. Sure enough, a few days later I started cramping a lot followed by a trip to the ER. It's irrational, but man I am really nervous.

Appointments scheduled: My first appointment is 8/8, which seems like forever away. I'm so anxious and I know I just need to relax since I can't do much at this point.

Upcoming milestones/Loss dates: I miscarried at 12wks to the day last time, so I have a while to go.

QoTW: What is your dream car? Hmmm, I think it's a Bentley coupe. A girl can dream!

  • @footprint Results take about 10-14 days. So hopefully sometime next week at the latest. Overall I am feeling very positive.

    EDD/Week/Fruit
    Feb 12/11w6d/lime

    Worries (rational or irrational)
Nothing too bad. I had a crazy dream the other night that an u/s showed this baby had triploidy also. I am awaiting my test results so I suppose it was the subconscious still thinking.

    Appointments scheduled
Perinatal consult with the MFM today. No reason just that the OB wanted to be sure that there isn't anything else she wants to monitor. I plan on talking to her about having the NT scan done just for more peace of mind.

    Upcoming milestones/Loss dates
Our loss was at 18 weeks, discovered during the a/s. Still have a few weeks to go. My due date would be next week (8/7). I am torn about what to do to remember her. My husband and I have different views on this so I feel alone in my planning. I do know that I will be making donations in her honor to NILMDTS and A Heart to Hold.

QoTW: What is your dream car?
    Audi convertible
  • EDD/Week/Fruit: Feb 28th, 9 weeks, green olive

Worries (rational or irrational): Doing my best not to freak out about the subchrionic hematoma, doing good so far. Although I did just see that some girls are put on pelvic rest when they have one, and my doc didn't do that, so we've had sex. Not a ton, but we have. But I haven't had any bleeding from it so... I'll just wait till the u/s next week Monday and try not to worry- hah! ;)

Appointments scheduled: u/s Aug 4th, ob appt Aug 5th

Upcoming milestones/Loss dates: I'm anxious to get past 12 weeks, when we found out about the last missed m/c. But really this next u/s I'm hoping will give me some peace of mind since I'll be 10w 2d, which is beyond when we lost the last baby.

QoTW: What is your dream car?: I don't really have one, but I really love my minivan! ;)

@footprint I love you for this check in!

I'm so gonna be singing that song during my appointment today!!!  When I hear the heartbeats, it's even funnier to hear them come and go because I can tell they are moving around.  It's so fun!!!

I only have a few more days left in my 1st tri (really????), and I feel like I'm getting a smidge better, energy wise, but I'm leaving today for St. Louis for a big national championship with the dogs and I know I'll eat like crap the whole time.  More than eating like crap, it's hard to eat at all to be honest.  We get REALLY busy and I often forget to eat.  We'll be a Purina Farms (which is an AMAZING venue) and they don't allow outside food or drinks, so I have to rely on what they have there.  Sometimes that is awesome, but more often than not it is chicken fingers, etc.  Not for me....UGH!

Have a good rest of the week everyone!  I won't be on for a while!!

@MoreThanSparrows08 I just saw your post about your appointment today. Congrats! I am having trouble quoting you, so I just skipped it.

Your description of your beach get away really made me want to go to the beach and hang out with your family! I don't even enjoy the beach that much, but something about how perfect everything sounds, I want to go to there! Which ocean or gulf are you swimming in?

I am sorry that you had a crazy, messed up Inception dream. Maybe it is a healthy way of releasing pregnancy related anxiety? (I am looking for a silver lining here).
@footprint - The beach was so nice! We went to Port Aransas, which is near Corpus Christi, TX.  It's one of the cleaner beaches in Texas on the Gulf of Mexico.  Sure wish I could do it more often!

  • @footprint Thanks! I'm super excited, and have been having these wild dreams that the U/S shows twins (Last nights dream was me getting the u/s, DH there with me, and on the screen showed my ute as the typical big black blob, and then there were two little figures SITTING on the edge/bottom of my ute, with their little legs dangling down)... seriously... pregnancy dreams.
And yes, that car is my dream come true... maybe when I'm 50 something and my kids are moved out and I can actually blow money on something for myself for once... (wishful thinking)
