Hey y'all! Hubby and I just got back from our babymoon and I cannot recommend one enough! Especially after what each of us has been through, I really wanted to recommend that you all try and plan some time alone for the two of you. It was one of our best vacations, and we were just so happy and relaxed. Especially recommended if IF has wreaked havoc on your budget and you never had the chance for a normal trip over the past few months/years.

We went to the Caribbean but honestly I think anywhere remote/quiet would work. And having only one person drinking cuts down on the tab quite a bit ;-)

I am super jealous!!  I really wanted to take one but I dont think it is in the cards for us this year.  But we did go to Mexico in May last year so at least it has not been too long.  Glad you enjoyed your trip!

Glad you had fun, sounds like a great trip! We had a babymoon last pregnancy and went on a cruise....apparently a "virgin margarita" means light rum in Jamaica because I ordered one and took a sip of what was cleaaaaarly an alcoholic beverage. MH told him I was pregnant and the bartender said, "Its light rum mon, it wont hurt da baby". OMG... MH's veins were bulging, needless to say he had two margaritas that afternoon and stumbled back to our ship

Because we did our treatment overseas, that was sorta our vacation but not really, cuz I slept for most of it, especially after treatment! We're thinking of doing something small soon. Desparately need a relaxing, fun weekend away! Preferably near a beach!

We are going to Aruba next month. I will be 17w. Initially, it was booked as our 5 year anniversary trip, as that was where we honeymooned. I am very excited to relax on the beach, in the pool, etc. Hopefully, the bartender in Aruba understands what a 'virgin' drink is!

@kflynn81 I can't believe that!! I accidentally had a sip of a rum drink...the bartender brought out two so I thought he made one for me, but nope, both for my husband lol. I had the (European) owner of a hotel ask me, shocked, if I was really, really giving up wine for the entire pregnancy. Couldn't wrap his head around it

tarala I have never been to Aruba...enjoy!! Have you been flying during pregnancy? I would recommend comperssion socks...I never needed them during my flights but anything >3 hours the following night I would get leg cramps while I slept.

Not happening for us, but we did go to Mexico in May right before my FET. I always said I would take a Baby moon, but we are in the middle of selling and buying a home plus pregnant with twins. We are going to be broke. lol. Our next vacation will most likely be Disney. .

We just got back from Alaska, it was already booked before my BFP, so that will be our last big trip for a while. I'm contemplating a long weekend in New England for leaf peeping around our anniversary...but honestly I don't know if we'll have spare money for it...it's been a speedy summer and with baby expenses and trying to pay down a car loan and a student loan so we can move will probably have to take priority.

Sounds amazing!  We already had planned to go to Europe over Christmas to unwind after the IF treatments, but didn't expect to find out I was PG!  We've decided to play it by ear and see if I'm up for the long trip and see how the pregnancy is going.  Nearly 6w now, so hopefully by then I'll be past the fatigue and indigestion   No matter what happens, definitely using everyone's advice on the massages though... Cannot wait!
