SPLURGE

This is the challenge thread, please post your pictures here.  Remember, pictures must have been taken by you in the previous week (i.e. between last Wednesday and today) and posted before the challenge closes tonight (winner to be declared around midnight EDT).  See detailed rules and disclaimers below. 

Winner is determined by highest number of love-tits. Lurkers can play by love-titting! 

No, there is no prize or badge for winning, except you do get to pick the following week's theme.  Happy photo challenging!!

And the rules as a reminder, and for the new folks that would like to play:

1. The photo you post must have been taken within the prior challenge week (usually Thursday - Wednesday). 
2. The photo must have been taken by YOU.
3. Fair warning: If you ignore rules 1 & 2, you will get flamed and disqualified. It's super serious.
4. The winner will be decided by how many "Love Its" they receive for their photo. 
5. Each week's winner will decide the theme for the next week and so on. 

Of course, if you are uncomfortable with any challenge you can sit it out. 

OPTIONAL: If you want to play along on Instagram for fun you can tag your photo with the hashtag #TTGPPC. There's a few of us that have made TTGP-only IG accounts but if you are private or don't have an account you don't have to share your photos on Instagram. I believe the thread that listed some of the TTGP Instagram accounts is gone now, but feel free to list yours below if you want people to follow you, etc. Remember, though, STRANGER DANGER, y'all.

I like to splurge on fabric. I will never have too much. 

Finished sewing this baby blanket on Friday for a friend. She is doing giraffes as a theme and I happened to have the perfect fabrics to use on hand in my fabric stash.

I splurged on dinner tonight. Artichokes with lemon butter and seared ahi.

@littleliverpill‌ my DS sends a love it too. He loves dogs and saw yours. Now he is in heaven telling me how awwwww it is and barking at him. And can't forget blowing kisses.

I splurged on a painting I HAD to have.  It's the most expensive material object I've ever bought (all of our other stuff for our house was bought for us).

I like to splurge on fun building projects. I just finished this table last week and am getting ready to start on a wall stencil!

@slappalicious : Thank you! This blanket is one of my favorite baby blankets I have sewn to date. I actually do not have an embroidery machine. I do it all with my sewing machine (Brothers SQ9050). I cut out all everything by hand, then use an applique stitch to sew it all in place. Can be very time consuming, but I love the results. I do some details by hand, if it is needed. Eventually I would love to get an embroidery machine, but I get by with what I have.  I have not checked out that board. I will have to do so, since I spend a lot of my free time sewing and crafting.

I am so loving all of these!

I'm a very boring breakfast kind of girl.  Usually I just have oatmeal.  On the weekends I tend to skip breakfast entirely.  This weekend though I was running errands all by myself and splurged on a bagel loaded with cream cheese.

I splurge on Amazon purchases. It almost doesn't even matter what's in the box; I just like getting packages.

Ha - that barely scratches the surface and doesn't even cover my fragrances or most of my palettes!  I do get a lot of free stuff but I buy a lot too. But I'm putting myself on a spending moratorium.

I splurge on my dog...I'm seriously surprised I'm not in debt from spending on him. I mean I had to get him birthday doggie cupcakes for his birthday over the weekend!!

@allisong1187‌ there's a place near my house that is a dog park/bar. You can enjoy some great local brews and get to know other dog owner/beer lovers in the neighborhood. They sell Bowser Beer and even allow you to hold birthday parties there for your dog!
Yes, I have heard of Bark Box. Awesome for those of us who spoil our babies!
