beta at fetal age 4 weeks and 3 days no fetal pole but 40,000 beta

anybody have these numbers and have a successful pregnancy......scared to death

    Wow that's a high beta number. You would definitely expect to see something on the U/S with those numbers however 4w3d is extremely early. What did your doctor say?

    BFP 5/21/10, Missed m/c 7/5/10 at 11w3d (baby measured 7wks), D&C 7/7/10

    Aug/Sept 2010 - CD3&10 b/w & u/s, genetic testing, SA, HSG, & Lap/Hyst to remove septum

    12/09/10 BFP -- 7/05/11 DS born at 33w5d. Came home after 23d in NICU at 37w0d

    June 2012 - TTC #2! -- 10/05/12 BFP --  5/23/13 DS2 born at 37w1d! Yay full term!

    Surprise BFP 6/25/14 LO#3 due Feb2015!

    She said to come back in on Monday and see what they fine......Don't think too much hope....I really hope that there still might be viability..any stories would be soooooo appreciated

    I think at 4 weeks you wouldn't be able to see a fetal pole.  I don't think people have seen much in there until 6 weeks or so?  (I've never had an early ultrasound, so this is all anecdotal info from me.)

    Your numbers sound really good to me, so don't panic.  You're still very early!

    I had high numbers (expecting twins) and only saw fetal pole of one at 6w1d. I was freaking out and looking online regarding that went back at end of 6 weeks (I go Dr twice a week since I had IVF) and fetal pole was there so don't lose hope it could be too early for you.
    Me: 32, DH: 34.
    Trying since Jan 2011. Unexplained IF.
    2 IUIs = BFN.
    1 IVF (Dec 2013) = BFN.
    FET, 2 frosties (June 13, 2014)

    14dp5dt-June 27 -BFP, beta 2061. 2nd beta >5000, 3rd beta >5000, 2 sacs 06/30.
    Twin Girls - 02/11/15 - at 37 weeks (no NICU, home with me at 3 days).

    It's probably too early. I had an emergency U/S at 5w1d and they didn't see the fetal pole. My numbers were in perfect range as well. Usually too early to see then. Try not to worry. It seems normal.

    thanks ladies......I know that I ovulated late because I have a short lp......I know I didn't ovulate until the 17th day and don't know when I fertilized.....So therefore her dating me from my last period which was May 30th which would make me 6 weeks 2 days would in all actuality be 5 weeks 5 days or at the most 5 weeks 6 days....

    She said that beta at 40,000 should show something.....so I will go back on Monday for another ultrasound....Don't want to stress and you all have made that more possible.   Thanks for input

    I have a friend that went through something similar... she ended up pregnant with twins even thought the dr told her prior to finding the twins to expect to miscarry.  But she had her babies 3 weeks ago.  Nothing is impossible.
