Headaches... what can i do??

in 1st Trimester
I have been experiencing a terrible headache and I just want it to stop... Are there any suggestions? Or anything I can take that won't harm the baby..

    Regular Tylenol is perfectly fine in pg.  My OB/Mayo Clinic recommends avoiding aspirin though (blood thinning).

    Caffeine also helps through vasoconstriction.  Some headaches are caused when brain blood vessels dilate.

    Any suggestions for migraines? I got my 5th one this week yesterday! I'm going to lose my mind!

    Ice pack on the back of your neck/lower head, where your hair line is basically.

    I do ice, Tylenol and a soda. Usually does the trick!

    What's the cause of the headache?  

    Dehydration is often a cause, so taking some Tylenol with a bottle of water will help.  If it's from congestion/sinus pressure Neti Pots can help to relieve the pressure.  If it's a migraine I like to put an ice pack on the back of my neck, put peppermint and lavender essential oils on my temple and across my forehead, and then take some Tylenol with water.  Tylenol alone won't do squat for my blinding migraines, but I've found this combo works well.  I haven't been able to take my migraine meds in almost 2 years because I can't take it while pregnant or nursing, and it took me a good year to discover the combo that worked for me, so just play around with different things to find what works if the cause is migraine related.
