Happy Tuesday everyone.

I woke up with a bad sore throat and am hoping it is not the strep that DH and DS had a couple of weeks ago. I should have gotten it before now if I was going to get sick, right?

Oh, and my juice cleanse is officially over. F- the creator of that diet.

If you really feel the need for a cleanse, just cut out all sweets, extra salt, eat minimal carbs (if any) for a couple days. Stick to veggies and fruit and healthy protein sources. Kind of like the old school south beach diet.

Yeah, that's what I'm going to do. Just focus on smaller portions of healthy foods, less crap, no wine. If my blood sugar dips, I am a crazy bitch, so IDK why I thought I could subsist on juice alone for three days.

It's my birthday and it is 56 degrees. So the boys & I are cuddling in bed reading books. DH brought me coffee in bed (WIN) and Will just handed me something and asked, "what dis? What dis?" I couldn't see it, so I reached for it. It was a booger. Ah, the life of a mommy.

I saw this today too and was sad.  If you have to put camo with a tutu, couldn't you at least make it more flattering?  I can't be the only one who thinks the colors on this are just too much.  Bleh.

I liked it better when PYP was just craft supplies instead of stupid clothes like every other deal site out there.

I'm really getting sick and tired of being ditched by all my friends. I think I need new ones. We were invited on a play date today, and after making the plans the mom followed up with "oh, by the way, do you know where I can get some pot?" Hmmmm nope, sorry.

I'm over house buying in general. Still no commitment letter and this process is sucking the life from me. 

 I'm okay renting for another year, but since we gave our landlord our notice on 7/1 (as he requested) we have to move from our apartment, which requires finding another apartment. I'm feeling pretty meh over the whole situation right now.

Happy birthday @amandad715.  This summer has been weird weather for sure.   

My boss gave me a half day comp day today since she's been out 4 of the past 6 weeks - 3 were vacation and one was a business trip so I've been drowing in work alone.   I'm very grateful for this and going to go to a thrift store and kid's consignment store in my hood.  I'm so excited to go to these stores.

I got up and did 30DS this morning. It wasn't as bad as I was anticipating considering it's been over 2 years since I've done it, but I'm trying not to think about how sore I'm going to be tomorrow!

Whoa. Yeah, call me stiff, but I'd be looking for new friends too. Do you have any moms groups in the area? We have some groups that have a Facebook group too, so it's easy to connect with people and set up get-togethers, even if you don't see them all the time.

Ugh. We are in the midst of our worst budget crisis since 09 and my director and the benefits plan administrator are next door talking about what we can cut from our plan to save money. This may suck.

I'm easily annoyed today. I need to make a dentist appointment. I called three places. All three places asked for all of my insurance info and DH's ssn before even asking what I wanted to be seen for or finding a potential appointment time. I'm sorry, but if it doesn't work out that I can make an appointment with you there's no way I'm giving you all that info.

I'm sorry. I feel ya. Our landlord has somebody ready to move in here and I know from our search last summer that decent rentals are very hard to find in this area. I'm stressing. Hope you hear something good soon.

I'm being induced Sunday if baby boy doesn't come on his own. I have residual nerve damage on the right side of my face from developing Bell's palsy two days before delivering Hannah, so my OB doesn't want to risk reoccurrence if I start swelling badly again. I've started swelling in my face a bit, so I'm freaking the fuck out, and basically hiding out in the house until Sunday.

I have a student who has called and screamed at me twice this morning.  There is literally nothing I can do to help this guy other than give him the Dean's phone number because frankly, his issues are way above my pay grade.  Unfortunately, it's summer and no one fricking works here, so the 2 Dean's that he needs to speak with are out until late this afternoon.

I'm just not answering the phone anymore today.

Have you watched Dead Like Me?  It was only on for 2 seasons, but I binge watched them on Netflix.  It was pretty good.  Here's a list that might help:

I added that, and I may buck up and finally binge watch all of one tree hill and the OC. And rewatch all of the office, and then some documentaries.

DH and I did not watch 30 Rock when it was on TV and are now watching it nightly on Netflix and peeing our pants it's so funny (wait, you may not want to be peeing your pants from laughter...).  Alec Baldwin is hysterical.   We are on season 4, but Season 3 with Selma Hayek was side splitting.    If you want to laugh/watch something light.  It's nice to watch after long exhausting days at work/with the kids.
