Re: horrible gas pains

  • Zantac is on the safe list from my OB and it's the only thing that works for me. Pepcid also was on the list, but it does nothing for me. My heartburn just laughs natural remedies in the face. For gas, I can walk it out or change positions and that helps.

  • Tums usually seems to work for me for heartburn. My gas pains have been crazy lately and I was wondering about remedies as well. I'll have to try the baking soda thing.

I keep chewy tums in my purse like candy.

As for the gas pain I am right there with you. Curse words help some along with walking them out.
  • I swear moaning and griping out loud makes me feel better! Lol I'm sure my cupcake every day since friday hasn't helped my craptastic stomach issues either. Hopefully baby isn't on an insuline overload :| hate feeling bloated!!!

  • Mylicon or gripe water helps with the gas pains.
  • I have had some crazy gas pains too the past little bit. Usually I walk around or change positions and hope they go away.

I have read that the baking soda works, but I am too chicken to try it.

  • Pepcid AC has been a lifesaver for my heartburn. Also Tums.
