Garrett vs Damon

So my husband are a hung jury. I picked Damon, and he picked Garrett, and we love them both enough that now we cannot choose.

The middle name is decided: Wayne. Additionally, we have two last names, initiated R.Q.

Some background: My husband has always loved the name Garrett, so he just threw that one out there. It's meaning ("rules by the spear") is nothing particularly special. I have always been a Greek mythology nerd, and the story of Damon and Pythias is an old favorite, and where I originally fell in love with the name. I'm aware of associations to the name Damien, from "the Omen" and that it is often associated with meaning "demon." However, I also know that in many origins that Damon means "gentle" and "to tame".

I know one or the other may not be your style, but (this info considered) how would you vote?

Garrett is very cute. I don't like Damon and Damon Wayne is too close to the comedian.

I like Damon, not my style at all and personally would never choose it, but it's not as common, I personally know zero Damon's...but Garrett sounds way better with Wayne and is also a great name, I know a few Garrett's

I think Garrett flows better with Wayne, but I voted Damon because it's a prettier name that has more meaning to you. I really like Damon. I would have considered it for a DS.

I prefer Garrett over Damon. Plus, Damon Wayne automatically makes me think of Damon Wayans the actor.

My brother is a Demian and aside from me joking with him over years he hasn't really had many anti-Christ jokes. He has however been called 'D'Main' which makes me kind of twitchy. I'm not a fan of Garrett at all, it's just too popular in my particular area.
