Symptoms: having more trouble sleeping lately, but I'm feeling really good otherwise.
Appointments/AW/news/etc: Next appointment is a week from today. In other news, I can feel our little girl move regularly now! I think I completely missed the "flutters" phase and now can actually feel harder movements. There's no mistaking it's her! We're still trying to time it right so my husband can feel her move too.
GTKY: What is your favorite thing to eat or do at a BBQ? I love hot dogs.... and have stayed away from them since becoming pregnant. Boooo. I also just like summer get togethers in general. Hanging out with friends, outside, grilling = great. Too bad for this hurricane!
Symptoms/ If i don't take my anti nausea pill at night i puke the next day, that and being hungry a lot, and some hip aches.
Updates/ Anatomy scan a week from today. Haven't seen the little bean since my dating ultrasound in April. So exited to see how much the baby has grown.
Gtky/ Eat lots of food, roasted corn, pasta salads, bbq, and talk to family.

Symptoms: I've started to have back pain the last week so that I can't sit in one position for too long. I'm also starting to have trouble sleeping but on the upside, LO's movements are much more obvious now (he's definitely a night owl). DH is disappointed he can't feel them yet. Maybe in another week.
Appointments/AW/news/etc: 7/8. It's just a regular checkup, but still can't wait to see the LO again (my OB uses a mini ultrasound instead of a doppler for the fetal check)
GTKY: What is your favorite thing to eat or do at a BBQ? Spiked lemonade and a great burger. Oh and guacamole and chips.
EDD/Weeks: 23 weeks, time is really starting to fly!
Symptoms: Nothing terrible. Feeling flutters fairly often and occasionally a bigger kick. Heartburn still bothering me. Keep waking up on my back, despite my Snoogle, but my dr said that's ok. I'm getting pretty big. Had to graduate from size M/L maternity clothes to L/XL. It's insane how much money I've spent on clothes during this pregnancy!!
Appointments/AW/news/etc: I have an appointment next week for a gestational diabetes test. It's required for everyone at our doctor's.
GTKY: What is your favorite thing to eat or do at a BBQ? Deviled eggs!!! And potato salad.
Symptoms: Pretty much nada. This week has been amazeballs. I feel like this is the second tri honeymoon people keep talking about. Still wish I could feel the babies regularly, not not yet.
Appointments: A/s is scheduled for this coming Thursday.
GTKY: drinking wine, getting tipsy and making new friends. (I'm totally socially awkward so wine is my savior at BBQ)

Appointments/AW/news/etc: Next appointment is 7/15. Think DH and I might spend the long weekend checking out strollers and cloth diapers. Pretty excited Also, I feel like baby is almost always moving.
GTKY: What is your favorite thing to eat or do at a BBQ? Whiffle ball home run derbies with my brother when at the parents. Hard cider. And my mom's cabbage salad, which I seriously end up consuming almost half of.
Appointments/AW/news/etc: Monday as usual. I get weekly cervix checks and have been since 16 weeks.. And since ending up in L & D at 21 weeks they're watching me like a hawk. Perk: get to see baby via u/s once a week.
GTKY: What is your favorite thing to eat or do at a BBQ? Hot Dogs!! & I just had TWO!! One for me & one for Jacob I did but the healthy real beef/no nitrates stuff just to make sure it was as good of a good food choice I can make.. Then I drowned it in Hormel Chili -- the doctor and scale are not gona be impressed with me on Monday but it was so good!!
Symptoms: feeling more regular movements daily. Definitely more at night. Almost nightly leg cramps and back pain when at work because I'm on my feet a lot. With those as my only symptoms I don't complain.
Appointments/AW/news/etc: next appt July 18. I was missing seeing my little munchkin so I took a sneak peek last week while at work. And looks like the marginal previa I had resolved. But I'll wait to get really excited until my appt.
GTKY: What is your favorite thing to eat or do at a BBQ? Grilled chicken wings.
Symptoms: Headaches and starting to feel him move! DH even felt a kick the other night- I thought it would be way too early for that, but it was undeniable!
Appointments/AW/news/etc: A/S coming up-
GTKY: What is your favorite thing to eat or do at a BBQ? Beer, Burgers and Banana Pudding
Symptoms: Holy nosebleeds, Batman! ( I've been gushing blood all over the place. I know that's something that occasionally happens in pregnancy, but I'm the only person I know in real life with that lovely symptom. Also, I'm having a hard time sleeping because I can't get comfortable. Still no bump, though. At least baby is kicking away in there (this kid kicks HARD).
Appointments/AW/News: My birthday is Tuesday! H and I are going to the beach for a few days. I am planning on eating a lot and making boob holes in the sand so that I can lie on my belly again.
GTKY: Favorite BBQ staple: This question confused me because I think of BBQ as pulled pork. Around here, we call a "BBQ" a cook-out! But I love hot dogs more than any adult should, so at a cook-out, that's always what I eat. If there's one thing I have craved with regularity throughout this pregnancy, it would be hot dogs. In fact, when H gets home in 15 minutes from work, I'm going to bat my eyelashes and ask to go to my favorite drive-thru (aptly named "Cook Out") and eat the shit out of some hot dogs.
Symptoms: heartburn still, and now tailbone pain when I've been sitting too long. I got one of those total pillows from cvs to use at my desk. It looks like a donut and is completely embarrassing- but it works!
Appts: can't wait until Monday!!
GTKY: MMM beer.
My coworkers looked at me like I was nuts when I asked about tailbone pain! Glad I'm not the only one
Appointments/AW/news/etc: We just left week one of vacation and are heading for week two in Panama City Beach. Emmy is loving all this relaxation and so is mom!
GTKY: What is your favorite thing to eat or do at a BBQ? Hotdogs, Deviled Eggs, Corn on the Cob, Baked Beans, and Cole Slaw! Can you tell I love a good cook out??
EDD - I got told 11/26 (instead of 27) at my u/s - not sure if it is some kind of typo on the chart or other calculation, but I'll take it since it's a day earlier than I thought
Symptoms: Constant indigestion; diarrhea (wtf?); rib pain, which I attribute to adhesions and sinus issues
Next appt is Jul 21st for the follow up u/s, since LO was moving around too much to get everything they wanted. Can't wait to see LO again!
GTKY: Gotta love me some ribs at a BBQ. Looking forward to finishing some over the fire when we go camping this August. It's something we do every year and I always look forward to it. Also the fresh corn on the cob we pick up at a road side stand on the way to the campground...
Symptoms: some hip pain, feeling pretty good otherwise:)
Appointments/AW/news/etc: first ultrasound on Monday..feeling nervous as we still haven't even heard the heartbeat (dr tried @15 & 17 weeks but couldn't find it and said not to worry it was not a big deal that he couldn't find it yet..) can't help but worry tho right;) just hope there's a heartbeat & a healthy baby!!
GTKY: What is your favorite thing to eat or do at a BBQ? I love all the appetizers & salads @ bbqs usually..and am missing the beer this summer!!;)
First off, I should introduce myself! I've been quite busy, and just never seemed to find time to actually post, though I've been lurking on these boards from my phone at times. I've got a fun & energetic 2 year old, and I'm due with #2 which is why I'm posting here. Oh, and we're Team Green, just like last time!
EDD/Weeks: Nov 7th - 22 weeks as of Friday (4th of July). (I will add, Baby #1 came 8 days early. I DO NOT WANT THIS BABY COMING ON HALLOWEEN. I am hoping Baby #2 comes on November 1st, my grandmother's birthday!)
Symptoms: I've been taking acid reflux meds for about 5 years now (took them through entire pregnancy last time). Usually if I forget one day I'm fine until a little discomfort at night. Well, I forgot today, and by 11am my esophagus was BURNING. So I guess that's a symptom. It was like this first go 'round too. Also, I am definitely noticing harder/stronger movement from baby, and obvious sleep patterns. Baby #2 is really active and seems to LOVE when I read books to my son. My 2 year old is OBSESSED with books, so we read a lot, especially before bedtime when we read 6-10 in a row.
Appointments/AW/news/etc: Had the anatomy scan at 21w3d. Baby is 100% normal, healthy, and perfect. Was measuring exactly on track for everything, with some things measuring a 3-10 days ahead. The place that does my A/S burns you a copy on DVD, so I like watching it to see the information I missed the first time when I was looking at baby the whole time. Also, my doctor decided to RELEASE me from having to take the glucose test!!!! My weight is really good, and I passed just fine last time. I was AMAZED. I never heard of anyone's doctor doing that unprompted! I just assumed I'd be taking the test until he told me I didn't have to!
GTKY: What is your favorite thing to eat or do at a BBQ? I love having tons of fresh veggies, salads, and sides. I am honestly fine without eating a speck of meat (and I'm NOT a vegetarian), but I usually take a few bites to get some protein. And of course I visit the dessert table with enthusiasum. I love homemade pies, cookies, etc. I don't get to "do" anything at cookouts anymore, except keep my 2 year old out of trouble. But we had a lot of fun blowing bubbles this 4th!

Gtky/ Eat lots of food, roasted corn, pasta salads, bbq, and talk to family.
Symptoms: achey legs sometimes, hungry and more hungry.
Updates: I think I might've "popped" over the week? I looked more round, but it could've been bloating, haha.
GTKY: chips and beer. All the healthy stuff :P
Symptoms: Pretty much nada. This week has been amazeballs. I feel like this is the second tri honeymoon people keep talking about. Still wish I could feel the babies regularly, not not yet.

GTKY- my fave BBQ food... My moms home made ice cream... Though none for me this year since it has raw eggs...
Symptoms: Constant indigestion; diarrhea (wtf?); rib pain, which I attribute to adhesions and sinus issues

AW: DH took this past week off. It has been amazing. We spent the 4th at my grandparent's house and had a wonderful time.
