Soo need to vent

Ok, today I decided to pamper myself while DH was working a the race car, got my hair done all that good stuff. I went shopping tried my normal size on everything was too small! So I thought no big deal I'll just go the next size up (been off BC 4 months now thought I might gain a little weight) well I put on the next size up and it was way to big, pants falling off my waist!! I just didn't get it.

Then, DH best friend is getting married and I was asked to be in the wedding party. The bride calls me, we are going shopping in the morning I already found the dress I like, they just need you to try it on. Not a problem, I can do that. Well just got you get an idea when I got married in March, my wedding dress was a size 4! and I was wearing a 5 in pants (like I said before the 5 was too small but the 7 was too big). I get there and the lady like try this on is a 10-13, I knew it was going to be too big but tried it on anyways. I get it on and the only problem is it's too big up top, well I thought I would just order that one, if we do get pregnant there would be enough room to alter (the wedding is in June or August they haven't picked a day). The lady was like ok, we will order you a 14-15. I about fell out of my chair! Do these people think that just because I'm TTC that means I'm going to be that big! I am a petite person, I just don't get why everyone thinks I'll be monster! I'm not even pregnant yet!

 Ok sorry I just had to vent, it wasn't a very good day a pampering, but my hair does look good!

Don't be too worried.  Bridesmaid dresses tend to run differently than regular clothes.  Plus size charts are different based on the designer. I've been in a few weddings and ordered a wide range of sizes all while I was the same size!

I'm not sure I understood your post entirely, but bridesmaid dress sizes run really small. ?Just to put that out there.

I know they are all different but for goodness sake! I guess it was just not my day to try anything on! At least my night went better, friends came over for our weekly dinner night and all the kids behaved great! Besides it always makes me feel better to cook for people!

Hey, I have heard of dress places ordering dresses too big for bridesmaids so that you then have to spend money on alterations with them.  You should make sure they're not trying to pull that on you.  Don't let them decide what size dress you need.  Look at the smaller dress and see how much larger it could be made if necessary.
