Changes in vision

I'd heard about vision changes during pregnancy but didn't realize it could happen while breastfeeding as well. This morning I noticed my near vision was blurry (I'm nearsighted and wear contacts). Everything gets blurry if I bring closer than about 8 inches from my face. Anyone else experiencing this? Hopefully it doesn't worsen and require a new bifocal! prescription. My vision changed for good after delivery with my last pregnancy. I'm not sure if it's gotten any worse this time. I never saw any recovery of what I lost last time so I wouldn't necessarily count on it being temporary just because the internet says so.

Well crap. Sorry that happened to you. And now to derail my own post, I kind of don't get this attitude about the Internet. Yes, there are too many idiots who believe anything they read and spread nonsense by way of social media (if it sounds far out, at least do due diligence by checking snopes.com) but the Internet gives us access to so much GOOD information too. We are so lucky to have so many resources so easily accessible. I'm 38 and an academic and it amazes me how much has changed in the last 20 years from a research perspective. I hardly have to go to the library at all anymore. It has just become more important to continue to teach students how to evaluate the information they find, in whatever form it is delivered.
