Feeding on a plane

This is a follow up question to my recent traveling with a 4 month old post. I have a regular carrier (I can't think of the name of it right now) and I was told that I cannot wear it during the flight. Any recommendations of a sling or other baby wearing wrap that I can wear on the plane to nurse during the flight?? I was thinking about getting a cover to wear, but thought it would be easier to just wear one thing for the whole trip. The total travel time is about 6 hrs. TIA

Re: Feeding on a plane

  • In my experience, you can use any carrier, just not on take off and landing.
  • Why does baby have to be in a carrier to nurse? If you would use it as a cover, maybe you can just use a blanket as a cover. You're probably bringing a blanket anyway. Or just wear a loose shirt. You are not required to cover up to nurse on a plane.
