PSA screenames with real names

If your screen name is your full name please get it changed immediately. After perusing threads this morning I found several SNs that appear to be full names. It's just not safe. People can find out waaaaay to much information about you. Down to what your brother ate for breakfast yesterday. You can either delete this account and create a new one (if you only have a few posts I recommend this way it's faster and easier) Or you can send 3 choices to bump Jackie at community@thebump.com and she will eventually change your sn. You can also change it by logging on to Theknot.com and editing it there!

    Also, if you change you sn, please also change your name on the Google doc linked in the Due Date thread. Don't let all my hard work be in vain!

    I am so glad you posted this!  This has concerned me, but didn't know what to do about it!
    Went over to TK and took all of 3 minutes.  YAY!!!

    ETA: I think you have to log out and back in again to be official, though.

    Mine was not my full name (@jessicamathew) but I've been wanting to change it for awhile, just thought it was a big process.  Thanks for the heads up that you can do it easily on TK!  So now I am @junebugjam.  Hopefully my siggy helps avoid confusion.

    You can dismiss them once you've seen them! Hover next to the star and a gear should show up. Then click DISMISS :)

    I requested to change mine twice. Both times they changed it, after 1 day it reverted back over to the one I have now. Fortunately, my sn WOULD be my married name, alas I'm not married yet, so I'm not concerned too much at the moment.
