39 WEEKS! LO is supposedly the size of a watermelon. She was estimated to be 6 lbs 10oz at last Monday's appt...so maybe a small one This will be my last check in with an inside baby. Induction is scheduled to start Wed evening with Cytotec if she doesn't come on her own before then (being induced due to GD).
Vent: Definitely feeling more aches and pains in these last couple weeks. Sleeping is getting harder because I get mega pain/muscle spasms in my left side, so I attempt to sleep on the right which hurts a long-standing right shoulder/neck issue. I am still able to get some sleep, so it's not a total shit show...yet.
Celebration: I made it all the way to my goal for working out at the gym!
I attended my final 30 min Spin class on Friday before I'd put my membership on hold starting Saturday. I probably could have tried to go Mon-Wed (if she stays in til induction), but I wanted the paperwork for holding my membership to be in place.
If I wasn't being induced I really don't know whether baby girl would stay in until next Sunday. I was also induced with DS for GD, so I don't know if he'd have been a late baby or not (though gut says yes). I'm a lot more crampy and have had more contractions with this baby though so I have a feeling she could come before Wed and would come before Sunday.
A little bit sadly, this is likely my last pregnancy. I know DH wants to be done. Financially, I know it's best for us to stop at two kids...makes allowing them to do extra-curriculars and family vacations easier/more affordable...but I really do love kids/babies and, despite GD, don't hate being pregnant so...it's bittersweet is all I'm saying.
Hmmm... I'm just excited to be nearing the end and to see our other ladies starting to have their babies!
Predictions on whether you'll make it to you due date based on how you are feeling?
I had some actual contractions last night. They only lasted about an hour and were about 60 seconds long every 6 1/2 minutes or so. I know this can go on for a while, but it's kind of exciting to see something happening. I was 2 cm and 75% last week so I hoping he'll be here in the next few weeks by my 7/13 due date!
QOTW: As we near the end of this pregnancy (or have reached it...) how likely are you to have any more bebehs?
We already have a 22 month old daughter and we're having a boy this time, so I'm pretty sure that we're done after this. It makes me a little sad, but I think two kiddos is a good number for us.
Vent: I went to the doctor on Wednesday and my BP was 160/100 so of course I got sent to L&D and was monitored. My BP dropped back down to 116/62. I don't know what my deal is but everytime I go to the doctor my BP shoots up. The nurse at L&D blew out the vein in my hand while taking blood so now my right hand looks like I punched the hell out of someone. It's ugly!
Celebration: I'm getting my house professionally cleaned today and I'm so so so excited about it!
I have no predictions about when baby will come. I'm clueless!
This is our first baby and will probably not be our last but I know that I want to try and lose weight before getting pregnant again because I think me being overweight made this pregnancy miserable.
38 weeks, LO is a pumpkin, and that's pretty accurate in my opinion. My vent is being this pregnant in the summer heat, it just sucks the life out of me. My celebration is how excited ds1 is to meet his brother. Almost every morning he says "good morning brother, come out and play with me!" Which makes me so ready for him to be here. I will most likely not make it to my due date based on how far I've dilated, last check was 5cm. I was 39 weeks when DS was born, so hoping he's born around the same. DH and I'm go back and forth on whether or not we will have another kid. We're about 75% sure we are done. I'm still young (26) so we're not ruling out another kid in the future.
Vents: I am so over being pregnant. Sick of being huge, sick of all the heartburn/acid reflux and sick of people asking me when I'm due/how much longer/what I'm having/how I'm feeling. Kind of wish I could go all hermit crab and hide out in my house until LO arrives.
Celebrations: managed to put together most of the baby stuff this week (swing, changing table, bouncer, etc) so finally my house is slightly less cluttered.
Don't feel like I'm going to go into labor any time soon. Had my first cervical check this week and no change yet. My last day of work is July 24th if she doesn't come before then and I feel like with my luck I will come home from work on the 24th and go straight into labor and get no rest.
This is my first baby and DH and I want at least three so I will definitely be doing this all again!

EDD 10/29/2018 FET Oct 2021: BFP on 10/31! MC at 5 weeks FET Feb 2022: BFP on 2/15! EDD 10/29/22
Celebrations/vents: We finished our registry...so we have everything I could think of for the baby, the nursery is ready, and my hospital bag is packed! I'm on summer vacation from school, so I've been completing a project a day to get ready. I made padsicles this week, freezer meals, and the general nesting that needed to happen. I'm ready whenever she is As for vents, I'm more uncomfortable lately than through my entire pregnancy. I have an old hip injury that is so exacerbated by baby pressure that it's nearly unbearable. I had to switch to a different blood thinner today, and the injection is 5X the volume of the old one...it hurts. A. Lot. My doctor has told me he'll let me go past my due date, even with GD, but at this point, I would go early with no problem.
Prediction: I sort of feel like I could go early. (Wishful thinking?) I've been having a few bouts of what I think are real contractions...they take my breath away, and feel very different than BH. This is all new in the last week, along with WAY more pressure in my pelvic region. So who knows..like I said, she can come early with no objections, as long as it's safe for her to do so.
QOTW: I think we'll probably have another...but I need the amnesia thing to kick in first. I don't like pregnancy at all, so I need a little time to forget the suckiness first. And we'll see how delivery goes.
Congrats to our outside baby mama, and early congrats to our soon-to-be...should we have someone else make the check in next week?
Vents: so tired of feeling like a science project with all the blood draws I've gone through in the last two weeks to test for thalassemia.
Celebrations: finally feeling human after a bout of the stomach flu. Also since I was put on bed rest with limited activity I can actually walk and move without wishing I could die and LO has recovered from my manager overworking me.
It's looking like I could go at any time according to the dr at my last appt. In a way I hope he's right so I can regain feeling in the upper portion of my bump but at the same time I want LO to cook as long as possible.
QOTW: While this is my first, this is DF's third. I want one more and hopefully be able to present my mom with her first granddaughter.
Yay for mommas with outside/soon to be outside babies!
36 weeks - honeydew today!
Celebrations: We had lunch at Pizza Hut today. Lunch buffet = pregnant lady's dream! Also, I think our nursery is pretty much done!
Vents: heartburn, aches and pains, and cramps! Ouch
I really have no clue when LO will come! Sometimes I feel like she'll be early, and sometimes I think I'm going to be pregnant until I'm 50. I have had increased BH and I think the cramping must mean something? The baby also made a craaaazy movement this morning...idk if she flipped or what, but I've never felt anything like that before!
We'll definitely have more babies, or at least one more. We also want to adopt. I'll just need that pregnancy amnesia to kick in ASAP!

Congrats to all the new mommys and outside babies!! Good Luck to those of you who are up next!!
38 weeks - honeydew
Celebrations- I am getting things checked off my list daily to prepare for her to come. I went to the dr this week they said I was 2 cm dialated, cervix was soft, and she was in position DH has been amazing and giving me pedicures and nightly foot and back massages!! I am very lucky to have such a loving husband!
Vents- back pain the last few days, uncomfortable and hot, not sleeping well
Not sure we will have more after this. We always said we would have 2 children but this pregnancy has been exhausting and I am ready for it to be over!
38 weeks - a pumpkin! And she certainly feels that big.
Any vents or celebrations from the previous week?
Vent - I've been getting some nasty round ligament cramps, and LO insists on kicking her foot very painfully in one particular spot (for the last 4 weeks). I'm pretty sure I'm internally bruised. >.<
Celebrations - DH is getting really excited for LO to come. He usually waits till the last minute to get pumped for big news, and he's finally there! He's been a lot sweeter and more thoughtful too. Yay!
Predictions on whether you'll make it to you due date based on how you are feeling?
At the moment, I'm feeling like I'll be pregnant forever. Since this is our first, I've been told so often that I'll go over my due date, that it's kind of sunk in. I'm still hoping for it to be earlier though!
As we near the end of this pregnancy (or have reached it...) how likely are you to have any more bebehs?
Definitely. It'll have to wait 3 or 4 years though, since I'll be earning my physical therapy doctorate between now and then. (I put off grad school for a year when we found out I was preggo!)
Also, congrats to all of you that have outside babies or are scheduled soon! I'm a twinge jealous!
Vent - I shouldn't complain because I know it's progress but baby has dropped and walking is painful.
Celebrations - Lots of things going on this week! At dr appt Wednesday I was 3 1/2-4 cm dilated. Lost mucus plug Thursday night. DH and I had huge 'finish the registry' Target trip yesterday. All the events with dilation and losing plug did spur DH to finish nursery - can't wait to post pics soon. Got a massage today that was great. All in all, pretty good week!
Predictions on whether you'll make it to you due date based on how you are feeling?
I'm thinking I won't make it to due date (7/21) based on how far dilated and the fact that I feel she is dropping.
QOTW: As we near the end of this pregnancy (or have reached it...) how likely are you to have any more bebehs?
We for sure want more kids as this is my first - so very likely!
Celebrations: yay for early term! Also happy that we've got just about everything ready (or so it feels like...). Also, going to get a prenatal massage this week. Vents: working sucks, but I have to save all my PTO time for maternity leave. Boo.
As far as delivery predictions...this kid is never coming. I've only had BH ctx and baby hasn't dropped. I haven't been checked yet, but I doubt anything is happening in there. Sigh.
QOTW: this is our first bebeh...so granted that this one goes okay, I think we'll at least have one more. I was lucky enough to have a decent pregnancy so it won't be that stopping us. We did have trouble conceiving and had to use Clomid, so I guess it depends on how much help we'll need next time too.
On another note: congratulations @quinncat ! Your little ones are adorable!
And good luck on your induction/labor/delivery @mrscurlygurl!
