Finally weaned my 2.5 year old!

I'm a little late in posting this, but I finally weaned my 2.5 year old about a month ago.  I didn't think it would ever happen, but the only way it worked was for me to leave the house and have my husband put her to bed.  It ended up working out because I'm now able to go to the gym earlier at night!

It took about a week to get her to stop asking to nurse but eventually she stopped asking.  Now she looks at my boobs and says "no more boot mami!" (she calls nursing "boot")

I also thought I would miss nursing her, but I'm good

Congrats and thanks for sharing! I'm prematurely feeling sad about weaning so it's nice to hear that you're feeling good about it. Glad to hear the process wasn't too hard on either of you!
